RE: Why Not fully back Kofi Annan and give peace a chance in Syria

Protesters threw tomatoes and shoes at Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's motorcade on Sunday during her first visit to Egypt since the election of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi. A tomato struck an Egyptian official in the face, and shoes and a water bottle landed near the armored cars carrying Clinton's delegation in the port city of Alexandria after she gave a speech on democratic rights.

A senior U.S. official said neither Clinton nor her vehicle, which was around the corner from the incident, were hit by the projectiles, which were thrown as U.S. officials and reporters walked to the motorcade after her speech.

Protesters chanted "Monica, Monica," a reference to the extra-marital affair conducted by Clinton's husband, former President Bill Clinton, while in the White House. Others earlier chanted "leave, Clinton" an Egyptian security official said.

It was not clear who the protesters were or what were their political affiliations. Demonstrations have become common in Egypt since former President Hosni Mubarak, long-time U.S. ally, was brought down by mass street protests last year.

Now you may ask ,how is that connected to the given topic;

so much about overthrowing government and " dictators"

Tremseh killings targeted rebels – UN monitors

A team of monitors visited the site of the killings on Saturday. After a preliminary examination they concluded that
“the attack on Tremseh appeared targeted at specific groups and houses, mainly of army defectors and activists.”
The UN monitors plan to return to the area and continue the investigation.

“First of all it’s very curious that just before important UN meetings we hear reports about massacres.” He added that speculation over the number of victims and whether or not women and children were involved undermined the credibility of media reports on the killings.

and a comment:

Nothing agitates the American people more than media induced sensationalism. And, nothing can match the sensational media stories of Assad "killing his own people". Truth is irrelevant.

The naive American people are being softened up with media sensationalism in time for the big "October surprise" - US attack on Syria.

American people rush to support their presidents whenever a war breaks out - and, what a blessing for Obama a new war would be.

There stands Barak Hussein Obama tall and proud as the cruise missiles and bombers wing their way to Syria.

Truth has never been a valuable ingredient the media campaign when the US-NATO Axis is agitating for war. Today, this Axis is agitating for war with Syria and Iran - tomorrow it will be Russia's turn to feel the wrath of this Axis.

did you know that the Vatican is actually losing money???
Vatican has registered one of its worst budget deficits in years, plunging back into the red with a €15 million ($19 million) deficit in 2011 after a brief respite of profit.

Syrian rebel commanders unite in frustration

Abu Moayed, a commander in an armed Syrian opposition brigade, stood and waved his arms emphatically at the fellow rebel commanders who filled the sweltering room.

His fighters, he said, needed money and weapons. But they were not getting the support promised from the donors and opposition leaders outside Syria.

RE: Why Not fully back Kofi Annan and give peace a chance in Syria

Im not surprised they didn`t accepted his plan ,besides UN was created and still lead by the Rotschild family ...

What Im interested in is, Is Russia playing a game, a game with huge stakes and waits for the higher bidder or are their intention the well being of Syria

And that`s the whole concept of having a European Union aka EU

feudal system under the dictatorship of one puppet master
and I would agree on the basic idea of having a union of all people if the intention of the puppet master were good for the human kind ,but as we can see, they are far from it...

Good question, and In my personal opinion ,profiles who send out this kind of messages are only decoys
you can see them from a mile away ,bad English ,God fearing ,most of the time pictures of some exceptionally good looking girl or guy
and that`s only the first wave ,
the real scammers speak perfectly English, have class, manners and they choose their victims carefully ...

RE: Why Not fully back Kofi Annan and give peace a chance in Syria

just read it in the news...

Funny how this keep's happening just before a UNSC vote on Syria! The only one who would benifit is the FSA who wants a NATO intervention. It show the desperation of the FSA as they little insergence fails.

This is all propaganda to provoke an outcry, leading to western intervention. The Rebels(Al Quaeda) are losing the war which they had declared and are in need of western Military help.
The best way to end this is to stop supporting these Al Quaeda Militia, All we are doing is escalating the situation. Its well known the majority of people in Syria support Assad

RE: Why Not fully back Kofi Annan and give peace a chance in Syria

Russia has sent a flotilla of warships to its naval base in a key Syrian port in an apparent show of support for President Bashar al-Assad in what would be the largest display of Russian military power in the region since the Syrian conflict began almost 17 months ago.

Two destroyers and three amphibious landing vessels carrying marines set sail from Russian bases in the Arctic and the Black Sea, according to Russian military sources.

The development appeared intended to underline Russia's effort to position itself as an increasingly decisive broker in resolving the anti-government uprising in Syria, Russia's last ally in the Middle East and where Russia has its only foreign military base outside the former Soviet Union.
