RE: Why Not fully back Kofi Annan and give peace a chance in Syria

my link was about trowing the US out of the game ( in oil trading)

why veto on the UN resolution???

I don`t know, yesterday I read about Obama and Putin having a phone conversation in which they agreed on ending the situation in Syria and that a change of the government is necessary
Today I read "Russia and China have vetoed a United Nations Security Council resolution that threatened Syria with more sanctions."

RE: christianty verus muslim,, which one is better for living

RE: Shark Fishing?

I had a friend from New Orleans who told me that the cheapest meal ( that was quite a few years ago ) was a crocodile or alligator sandwich ...

Although I would love to have cowboy booths made from crocodile leather ,I somehow don`t see that neither sharks , crocodiles or any other wild animal should be killed just for fun or to be shown as a trophy

RE: Why Not fully back Kofi Annan and give peace a chance in Syria

this gotta be the joke of the week...

Hamas Abandons Assad, Backs Syrian Rebels
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh ;"I salute the heroic people of Syria who are striving for freedom, democracy and reform,"

Comment: Israel's assassination of Yasser Arafat and the creation of Hamas to supplant the PLO is beginning to make sense now:

Hamas is a Creation of Mossad

What is it about Sunnis that they keep betraying their Arab brethren to align themselves with US and Israeli interests? First Lebanon, then Iraq, now Syria and Palestine... it appears that the Western powers did their homework and realised that Sunnis were most susceptible to being used as pawns to foment the fake 'Clash of Civilizations'. Perhaps there are greater concentrations of Right-Wing Authoritarians in Sunni populations?

RE: Say it!!! Don´t regret it later!!!!

Morning folks...yawn

coffee

RE: Why Not fully back Kofi Annan and give peace a chance in Syria

A comment which I found interesting;

I agree with you absolutely. In the case of Libya, the conditions on the ground were different: Gaddafi was up against the entire NATO and also the same Gulf money and mercenaries were at play in Libya. Still, Gaddafi could have still resisted if the entire wait of NATO was not brought to the battlefield in Libya. The situation is much different in Syria: larger, better trained, well equipped, professional national army and the strong support of Russia ( and China) which keeps out NATO. As a result, now we see how the media war of misinformation and money are being used to won the war on Syria! Every defection, however minor, is treated as sign that Assad is going to fall next hour. Now we see the entire Western media playing up the fighting for Syria and imminent victory of the rebels. It is astonishing how there is no longer a line that divides legitimate and illegitimate journalism in the U.S and the British media when it comes to Syria. The colonial fraternity and brotherhood that unites the British and the U.S has become clear since the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The U.S and the British want to re-colonise the Arab and the Muslim world in front of the entire world! I am deeply shocked because I remained somewhat naïve even after the 2003 U.S/UK invasion of Iraq. I just did not want to believe that the British and the U.S were joining to achieve the recolonisation of the ME and Africa. When I saw last night a report that the U.S has been sending to Israel Iraqis national ancient artifacts it captured after the 2003 invasion of that country- I just wanted to cry. I did not want to believe my eyes. I had to watch the program at least three times to make sure I was not dreaming.

Mafioso tactics: Smaller countries must fall when US says so

Resorting to blackmail tactics in order to push through a UN resolution allowing the use of external force shows that the US is extremely frustrated that Assad has been able to hold on to power in Syria for so long, activist Brian Becker told RT.
Moscow said on Monday that Western governments are trying to blackmail Russia into supporting their draft of the Syrian resolution, threatening to end the UN observer mission if a deal is not reached.
The director of the ANSWER anti-war coalition, Brian Becker, told RT that the US wants to intimidate Beijing and Moscow in the international arena so it can do what it wants in order to reach the ultimate goal of overthrowing the Assad government.
