and there is the possibility, however small, that we could have a full fledged all out war on American soil, & i don't mean the occasional attack like we had on 9/11, tragic as that was.
if we had such a war here, what would you do? are any of us prepared?
does anyone else think of these things or am i just being paranoid?
the closest answer i could come to was #2. whenever a person introduces themself i ALWAYS look at the profile. or if it's a new face or name in the thread i'm reading.
1. You Will Receive A Body You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.
2. You Will Learn Lessons You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called Life. Each day in this school, you will have the opportunity to learn lessons - you may like the lesson or think them irrelevant and stupid.
3. There Are No Mistakes, Only Lessons There is a process of trial and error; experimentation. The 'failed' experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately 'works'.
4. A Lesson Is Repeated Until It Is Learned A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.
5. Learning Lessons Does Not End. There is no part of Life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.
6. 'There' Is No Better Than 'here'. When your 'there' has become a 'here', you will simply obtain another 'there' that will again look better than 'here'.
7. Others Are Merely Mirrors Of You. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you love or hate about yourself.
8. What You Make Of Your Life Is Up To You. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
9. Your Answers Lie Inside You. The answers to Life's questions lie inside you. All you need do is look, listen and trust.
i go off into my corner & pout for a short while, then i shake it off (forgive). i try to go back to the one that hurt me & resolve the matter if no resolution then keep away from that person, no more trust, no more friendship.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
i'm sure everyone has heard the saying "the only constant IS change".
i think the best changes are the ones that occur naturally. i do not believe change should be forced, and not all changes are good.
i would like to believe that i have changed for the better. as a kid i used to be the one your mother warned you to stay away from. now i think i would be liked by anybodys mother.
RE: Hey! Is there any women that are really interested in dating me?
the more desperate you sound, the less likely you are to find someone.
