Women will understand this! Men should memorize it!
Every woman knows that there are days in the month when all a man has to do is open his mouth and he takes his life in his hands! This is a handy guide that should be as common as a driver's license in the wallet of every husband, boyfriend, co-worker or significant other!

When you are in a restaurant does it depend on the service you receive on how much you tip or should you always tip the appropriate amount. That goes for other places of service as well. I have heard the argument that these are poor college students and they need the money or that they are single mothers supporting themselves and their children.
My feelings are that the person needs to earn the tip (To Insure Promptness) if they give top service I will generally go beyond the 20%. If they don't give top service I reduce the tip accordingly.
Another area is places like Starbucks where there is the tip jar on the counter by the cash register. The person who served me the latte didn't do anything but what they were hired to do, there was no personal service why should I be required to leave a tip. It used to be that a tip was a gratuity for superior service now it seems that it has been made an obligation.
Like to hear what you think and I know some of you have been waitresses or other service area employees JMO
