DK and Beaches....have a fun weekend! I don't know anything about Montreal but Cape Cod is REALLY a fun place! Wish I could join the ladies for a few laughs and happy hour drinks! Here's to you both!! BE SAFE!!
Dang it; no collar but, I understand! I think it was Dave who said that they're pretty resilient and tough, so don't give up looking. At least it's not the dead of summer or the dead of winter. He picked a good time to take a stroll, didn't he? Has it rained at all since he got loose? He'll get dehydrated before he'll starve. OMG.. I just hate for him not to be home with your Dad.
I'm going to bed and I WILL say a little prayer! See y'all tomorrow!
Welcome Yasa! This is a great bunch of fun people from all over the place! There have been a few matches made in heaven and a few that failed but, life goes on and everyday is a holiday here!
IF your Dad gets him back, he should get him neutered .... if he's not already. I forgot to add that part! (If he gets him back and I sure home he does VERY soon!)
Ship, I'm so sorry to hear you lost one of your dogs. I'm sure your Cocker Spaniel is filling the hole to some degree. I've never not had a dog in my life either! They're so much fun and great companions. The cost to keep them healthy is a small price to pay.
LIBC.....I'm wondering if your Dad's dog was neutered. If not, he should GET him neutered! (It usually keeps most males at home!)
LIBC...I posted about this in cbond's topic. I could cry FOR you! Loving MY dog as much as I do, it's extremely upsetting to know that your Dad's dog is gone. Put out fliers, call Animal shelters, knock on doors close to where he got loose and don't give up! PLEASE let us know if you find him. I'm not very religious but I'm certainly going to say a prayer that you get him back.
Awwwww, if you weren't so young!! I admire you so much for saving your cat. I rescued a Lab mix puppy for sure death and she's been my best constant companion for the past 3 years. I wouldn't give her up for anything!
Well, if YOU like the pic then don't remove it! You asked us about the pics and we gave you our opinions! Silly guy! Glad to hear you have a great job and don't have to work in crummy bars! I dated a guitarist for many years and back then they were worse because everybody smoked. I don't know how I'm still alive breathing all that stuff!! Anyway....best of luck and I DO hope you meet someone very special very soon!
Good pics. Now all ya have to do is remove the one of you hugging that guitar! Good luck and I hope you meet someone worthy of your kind heart. You're a good man Charlie Brown!!
Cbond...LOL..so you'd rather be desperate than cheesy? You're too funny! Maybe take a picture not HUGGING your guitar! Holding it might look more macho!
Hi Ship!! YES....it's REALLY been a long time! I've been busy packing to move plus we had our family reunion last month that I spent waaaay too much time with BUT, it was my baby and everything had to be perfect!!
I'm back today since I'm giving myself a little rest but it'll be back to packing and all the stuff related to it!! Maybe I can check in for a few minutes each day!
Take care. Oh,,,I didn't see the "Older Set" topic! It went byebye?
I agree with Shorty that you HAVE to be a great guy if you love your beautiful Boxer and cute cat. (I grew up with a Boxer named Blondie and she lived for 17 years.) For ME, I'm not fond of muscles or the body-builder look so, the muscle shirt pic doesn't excite me. It might excite others. I think you love guitars and music!! haha That's a good thing to like music AND as Shorty said, you love to cook! You've got a lot going for you! Good luck in finding someone!
Minimoo....you'll find that being alone with your son isn't such a bad thing. If you have friends and enjoy their company, you are very lucky. Give yourself time to get over your ex, devote quality time to your son and I'll bet you will meet a great guy when you least expect it. Keep your chin up and think positive!!
Shorty, you live near the coast south of Fredericksburg. (She actually works in D.C.) Wow...looking at the map you're right near Norfolk! I'll bet you see lots of Sailors!! Do you? Ya gotta love those guys in uniform!
LOL, Shorty, I love your expression "Mr Entertainings!" For SURE there are a few of them here and they're always making me laugh! I wish I didn't have so much to do to get ready for my move because I'd be here all day chatting with everyone. This afternoon I AM relaxing and chilling out before I get back to packing tomorrow.
I lived in Boone, NC for 7 years and loved the scenic beauty of the mountains but NOT the horrific winters. I have a friend who lives in Fredericksburg, Va. Is that far from you?
The Steelers have won MANY Super Bowls and I personally have a huge crush on Terry! He was an awesome Q.B. even though my all-time fav is Dan Marino. Terry would be so much fun to date and he IS single I think! We'd make a great pair because I LOVE sports (baseball, football, and golf) but oh well.....ce la vie!
Shorty....we rented a 6Br/6Ba awesome cabin in Pigeon Forge. It had 4 floors with three decks, two of which had hot tubs. We loved the pool table room and set-up our cocktail bar in IT but the BEST room of all was the 12-seat media room with a huge TV screen.
Welcome to CS! It's a great place to meet new friends, even if you never meet Mr. Right!
LOL...I was thinking you meant "no comment" about Peyton's Colts but then realized you're from Oregon!!
Sassy.....I'm a die-hard Patriot fan! Go Tom Brady!!! Wooooooooooo! I think this year both the Colts and Patriots will be awesome! Football season starts TONIGHT!!!! Your Colts vs Detroit? (I think!)
Do NOT enter a building or sit down to the dinner table with a hat on! Here in Kentucky lots of Mom's failed to tell their son's that it's an ignorant thing to do!
Galactic...good to see you again!! I'm trying to catch up on a few back pages of posts!! Wow!! I'm waaaay behind!!
Sassy....congrats on your new job in Indiana! (Will you be cheering on Peyton's Colts?) That was really good for you meeting other CSers while you were there! I'll bet it was lots of fun! Will you miss Oregon? I think probably not, if you're in the part that gets lots of rain! Best of luck to you in YOUR move!!
I wonder if there are any CSers from Winston-Salem, NC???
RE: A question that bothers me...
Good post!! GREAT response!
