lol ah ok.. have had cystitis ( ok mind spelling) kidney infection while pregnant and been hospitalised for potassium levels droping, appendicitus and crushed vertebrae... to me childbirth was a 100 times worse than all of these. just shows how different we all are.
I am currently awaiting approval to foster a friend of my daughters, she is 13,she was abused by a neighbour and her folks have taken his side.... the poor child is screaming for help and has pleaded with me to let her live with me but I legally cant at the moment.
Exactly my point. A thread was started by another member who reckoned people were 'hatin' on him because he spoke differently, some ppl told him not to be himself' and not to change to suit ppl on the INtl forums so I just thought I would start a thead in my home language to see wht the response would be.
I thought my heart was broken a few times as a teenager, until it happened for real. The pain was actually physical when it did happen, took 2 years till I could breath without thinking of him. will never happen again. The expression ' better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all' is crazy..better to never have loved than to feel that pain.
It really depends on the list, I have seen some that have everythinbg from a basin for the kitchen to a suite of furniture, so there is something to suit everyones pocket and is better than getting 6 toasters and 12 irons lol.
What I dont like is being told that the couple want a gift cheque or cash, puts to much pressure on ppl to my mind.
Once you can manage the practical side of things like finances I would say go for it. I went back when I was in my thirties and was one of the best things I have ever done.
