It's not the state's fault these children are missing, they came from dysfunctional backgrounds, that's why they are missing now. The state did the best they could with them but they were damaged before they came into the state's care.
It's not the state that has a bad record with these kids, it's the family. Some people aren't fit to be parents, the sooner their kids are taken off them the more chance they have of having a normal life.
Should be very careful about accepting statistics like that, they come from groups that have a vested ideological interest in getting certain results to their surveys.

Yeah I think that as long as the 'intention' is to ease pain and not kill the person then it's legal, even though the consequence is in fact the death of the patient.
Not only is it effective as a means of disciplining children but it's the only effective means.....so many bad kids running around this country today and all because they never felt the fear of the stick.

Yeah it did get good reviews so I was a bit surprised. As SDB said the guy did Adam and Paul, and he also did Garage which in my opinion is a really good film.

Occasionaly I see a profile that's long and detailed and the person has obviously put some effort into it....have to say that's much more impressive than the one that contains nothing.
Yeah I saw a David Attenborough documentry about that on Discovery channell. Incredible, nobody can figure out how the Dublin huairs know how to find their way to the same place in Wexford every year, thousands of miles away and yet they manage to migrate to the exact same place. A wonder of nature.
