An old friend of mine from here had a date with a guy she had been mailing here for a while. His profile said six feet tall. When they met she saw that he was about five foot six and shorter than her. She immediately asked him for an explanation. His cheerful reply was 'sure everyone tells lies on this thing'!
Cons: 1. I have more baggage than an airport carousel 2. I always cheat on any woman who goes out with me 3. Don't like children (especially yours) 4. Not good around the house 5. Poor personal hygiene
You are right about SF, they are former terrorists rather than terrorists. Not much of a moral difference though.
What I'm really interested though is your term 'west brit' as it speaks volumes! not about me but about you! Republicans call anyone who disagrees with them a west brit, in other words if you don't agree with me it must be because you are a traitor! The silent majority here in the south can see through this bullying impulse and shudder at it! That's why the silent majority here despise SF and all they stand for. Apart from a residual sympathy with northern catholics they will not lift a finger to help them if they dig themselves into a hole, as they did during the troubles.
I am a democrat and a realist, not a fantasist.
If you continue to think in terms of a 'united' Ireland you will always be disappointed.
A supporter of the bombers and murderers' party? I don't think so!
A republican? never, republicanism in this country is a euphemism for a brutal and undemocratic impulse.
You won't live to see a united Ireland, and neither will your children for that matter. It will take generations. You mention that some protestants vote SF, sure, but a lot more catholics vote unionist. No protestants want a united Ireland and only about half of catholics want one. If there was a border poll in the north now the result would be at least seventy-five percent in favour of maintaining the status quo. I can't see that changing for generations to come.
Due to the seizure of coffee beans with an estimated street value of over one million euro off the south coast of Ireland the on street price of coffee has soared, causing increased crime as addicts have to steal more to feed their habit.
Much coffee is not pure of course but 'cut' with things like milk and sugar to make it go further, this can cause a dangerous variation in its strength and often leads to overdoses.
RE: Retirement Age
Anyway, anyone can 'retire' as in stop working any time?
