RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

No, thank you. I want him to work on my dream retirement home located on the Amalfi coast.

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

Years ago that included citizenship. I have my paternal grandparents' U.S. naturalization papers. King Vincent Emanuel III of Italy wasn't considered highly here in 1939.

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

I wonder why you had to give up Canadian citizenship. The U.S. allows many dual citizenships. I did not have to give up my U.S. citizenship when I obtained my Italian citizenship in 2006.

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

Yep, have both. My EU Passaporto states that my citizenship is Italiano, living abroad. I just voted to put berlusconi's people back into offices last election.

peace

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

Hahaha does a photo of my father taken there right after World War Two wearing one of those kilt things carry any weight?

So what are you waiting for?

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

Now, since I hold both U.S. and Italian citizenships, what does that make me?

peace

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

Woe, now, If only you were raised to believe we all should think and provide for ourselves and, old enough and attracted to me.... Well, I would have found my dream.

Social security retirement benefits are not intended, ever, to be a pension.

RE: New here and saying hi!

Hey, ten.... wave

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

Having four naturalized grandparents, i know you are correct in your last statement. Regarding who is called an American, that applies to both South and North America.

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

I'v agreed with you on the wrongful changes made in social security. But, social security was never intended to provide a whole lot to begin with.

It's mathematical. Only Eight percent of someone's earnings to pay FICA isn't going to yield much in return. Why do you expect social security to be a good investment, when up front your not contributing enough to get a whole lot out of it.

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

What exactly is "it"? Is "It" the message found in the original book, titled "the wizard of oz"? ... not the screen play.

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

If you know the answer to your own questions, why do you bother asking .... Never mind, I got your points. cheers

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

Maybe you should google what a citizen of the USA is, if you really don't know.

I am not a lawyer but I would say you are trying to argue about pointless things. You need to find someone else to waste time. Not amusing to me and that is primarily why I am here.

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

We are not perfect, definitely not. But those living today had nothing to do with talking the Indians into selling there property or moving out of the way.

Regarding original americans. who were the originals? And then You must ask those on the Indians way here or here when the Indians arrived.

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

I believe that the order of what is said in the pledge of allegiance may be less important than the whole (duh) and maybe the issue of the flag can arguably be summed with little verbose.

For any flag we have used it always stood for freedom and the cost to achieve and maintain it. Americans meant freedom and our Flag meant America. This is how we live in the USA; Free.

Whereas, unlike a pure democracy, in a constitutional republic, citizens are not governed by the majority of the people but by the rule of law.

To me, how we live is more important than how we are governed.....

(here America = USA)

RE: The Pledge of Allegiance of America

killing and murder are two different things. if you'd read the old testament or other documents on the time, you'd know God (as told by someone) ordered the Jews numerous times to go out and kill a bunch of people. wow
