If the questions are the main focus of the date, you need to plan better. If you are out enjoying yourselves, and not just sitting across from each other for hours, there wouldn't be time for an interview. I think it's necessary to find out things about my date, but that can be incorporated into everyday conversation. Now if she whips out a tape recorder and starts taking notes, maybe you should reconsider going out with her again...JMO
