it hurts when it ends the memories are priceless....

i cannot count the pieces....
tho let me tell you this.....for every fragment landed and took root and grew and my heart
became even bigger
and shattered again ..........and again.
until it all became so overwhelmingly rich...........and amazing,

I think it's programed in our nature to be cauious, some more then others.
At 46yrs old, I don't believe I have ever truely been in love, if I had, wouldn't I still be with them? True love in my eyes is ever lasting, with the exspection 0f death. Even in death, one can still be in love with the same person.
Do I want to experience it, you bet! Do I look for it, you bet! Will I sit around and wait for it, no way! When it's right, I suspect it will run over me like a freight train and I'll be smiling the whole time.

Yes, it is wonderful and I have experienced it. You are right, it lasts even after death and my love for my late husband has never waivered. I only wish I could find a love like that again. Would I do it again knowing how it would end (as the country song goes)--yes I would, without question. I can only wish that everyone can get to experience that kind of love at least once in their life.
