If it ain't broke, don't fix it: Whenever I say car, substitute the word Politics:

If the cars are not broken, don't repair them. Maintenance the cars first before making any drastic changes. There is no such thing as perfect cars. Some cars only need an oil change and tune-up. Other cars are on the brink of breakdown. These type of cars need more concern and should be taken to smart mechanics who know how to repair the cars.

Some cars are completely broken and these cars need to be junked and brand new cars installed. People deserve cars that work properly and will keep them safe from ruin and disaster. Good cars should protect them from the other guy and be economical cars.

Newt Gingrich Posts Income Tax Return on the Internet During Debate

As a debate began between the Republican presidential candidates, Newt Gingrich released his 2010 federal income tax return, placing it on the Internet for all to see.

In an obvious political ploy to goad his opponent Mitt Romney into revealing his income tax returns, Newt Gingrich’s campaign released the tax return along with a statement:

“Speaker and Mrs. Gingrich owed federal taxes of $994,708 on an adjusted gross income of $3,142,066. $613,517 of the tax amount owed had been previously withheld or otherwise paid, and the couple paid the remaining balance due of $382,734 (which included an estimated $1,543 tax penalty) with their filing.”

“Included in the wage and salary income reported on Speaker and Mrs. Gingrich’s tax return is $450,245 in combined wages; $41,625 in income from speaking and board of directors fees; $6,853 in rental income from real estate holdings; $11,892 in ordinary dividends; $5,990 in qualified dividends; and $2,525,683 in income from partnerships and S corporations, including the Lubbers Agency Inc. and Gingrich Holdings, Inc.

“For the year 2010, the Speaker and Mrs. Gingrich reported $4,184 in net short-term capital gains and $32,541 in net long-term capital losses. Over the course of the year, the couple also contributed $81,133 to various charities, including the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.”

For a peek inside the personal financial dealings of someone who is obviously quite wealthy, take a look at Newt Gingrich’s tax return here (.pdf file). Gingrich’s financial disclosure forms filed last summer revealed he’s worth more than $6.7 million.

I went to old Cleveland Municiple Stadium, that huge ballpark many times when I was young, before they built Progressive field It seated 83,000 people. They don't build them that big anymore. My Grandfather was a sheet metal worker; he manufactured the original Chief Wahoo rotating sign. They used horses back then to lift the sign in place.

One day he was on the corner of East 9th and Euclid Ave. to erect a new sign. A pully was installed near the new sign location. The horses did the lifting. Grandpa's job was to stand on a ladder with a guide rope. As he was fighting the wind with both hands, his pants fell down. Fortunately, POP had his usual pink polka-dotted underwear on! As the story goes, he stopped traffic on one of the busiest intersections in the world because people were laughing so hard and beeping their horns.

The way I heard it was the you take off your engagment ring before the wedding ceremony and put it on the other hand. During the ceremony your new husband puts the wedding band on the ring finger of your left hand. Afterwards, the engagement ring is moved over and sits on the outside. The symbolism of this is that wedding ring sits closer to your heard. It's a fulfillment of love while the engagment ring is merely the promise.

I see women wearing it both ways and I think any arrangment is fine as long as it pleases the woman.

Is it true that the Muslim bride and grooms wear it on the right hand and not on the left hand?

Bingo NAKEDMUDPEOPLE! EACH is the keyword:

$25 is sitting with the Cashier, $2 with the friends, and $3 with the Waiter. That adds to the required $30.

The mistake is expecting that what the men paid and what the Waiter kept to add up to what the men initially gave. In fact, it is the amount that the meal effectively cost them, plus the amount they received back, that should add to $30.

Two friends have a nice meal together, and the bill is $25

The friends pay $15 each, which the Waiter gives to the Cashier

The Cashier hands back $5 to the Waiter

The Waiter keeps $3 as a tip and hands back $1 each

So, the friends paid $14 each for the meal, for a total of $28. The Waiter has $3, and that makes $31. Where did the other dollar come from?

THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27, ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.

A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25, SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5.

27-2+5=30
