It don't matter who raises you or how good your raised - we all have the power of choice - sometimes circumstances in life present themselves to where you have no choice but to make the wrong one in order to live. That does not make someojne bad, nor does it reflect on who raised you - some things in life just can't be avoided.

Never let someone live rent free in your mind or heart - imagine how good they would feel if they had any idea how bad you are hurting because of them.
