RE: EXPENSIVE WEEK!!!

123.ie are ok if you intend on seeing out the policy but if you cancel a few months in they will almost take the full amount quoted anyway, Thats the scam with that crowd, also they dont even ask if you have a drivers licence when you get a quote, I heard of people who had lost their licences in court but were still able to get insured by 123.ie

RE: EXPENSIVE WEEK!!!

This month I have been cleaned out altogether, broke my front tooth playing rugby and cost me €500 for for a crown and paid a fine of €400 in court too so thats €900 smackers gone just like thatdoh

RE: Any exam tips?

write what you think are the answers or the main info down on a piece of paper and keep it in your pocket, then when sitting in the exam raise your hand and ask to use the toilet, Its unusual they will follow you into the toilets but in case they do just cough a few times to mask the sound of you opening the page, memorise it and go back in straight away and write it downdancing

RE: EXPENSIVE WEEK!!!

I remember a friend telling me he was telling another mate that his dog was sick and it would cost him hundreds and his response was a bullet is only 50 cent laugh

RE: Ireland has the highest sucide rate in Europe

Suicides in Ireland are not recorded as suicide, They are recorded as death by misadventure on death certs, It would be difficult to get the correct data but it certainly is high

RE: Ireland has the highest sucide rate in Europe

its gone mad since the recession hit, no job no money and facing a raft of other problems, It would make people feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel, no future, no hope, When things are that bleak you could nearly understand why people kill themselves, If you think Irelands suicide rate is bad, take a look at Japan, The suicide rate there is enormous, When doing anything the japanese as people put every effort they have into something and if they fail they break down and take it personally, They dont seem to have the ability to seperate themselves from the situation, its like they feel they are the problem when in reality they are far from it

RE: Car probs :(

Is it as confusing as the film?laugh

RE: Car probs :(

I had a starting problem with a honda accord vtec for over 2 years, sometimes it would fire up straight away other times it just wouldn't start no matter how much you tried, I changed the fuel filter and the problem persisted, got new leads and spark plugs still the same problem, new battery still the same problem, Then I looked at the rotor head under the distributer cap and it was slightly rusted, I gave it a rub with some sandpaper and sprayed a bit of wd40 on it and I never had that problem again so all my trouble was down to a rusted rotor head, the simpliest thing ever to rectify, I wish I knew that before I spent a load of money on other thingsfrustrated

RE: Car probs :(

some make up problems that arent even there, I got a service there 2 years ago and I was told I needed new rear wheel cylinders because apparently they were leaking slowly, I knew it was BS so i took it too another mechanic and he said they were fine, The other crowd were just looking for work, they would have charged me for putting in new cylinders plus labour without touching the van at all, Cowboysvery mad

RE: Car probs :(

RE: Will you wave the Union Flag when the Queen vists....or allow your kids...

I know yeawave

RE: Will you wave the Union Flag when the Queen vists....or allow your kids...

England didn't make it to world cup 2002 and they all got behind the Irish team, sure they may as well be an England B team anyway

RE: Will you wave the Union Flag when the Queen vists....or allow your kids...

Yeah they burn them every year, I saw a documentary on their bonfires on BBC before, they could be a few hundred feet high all made of pallets and a tri colour on top, It wouldn't annoy me, I would question why they burn our flag in the first place and the reason is because they feel threatened by the republic, They know they are on borrowed timewine

RE: Post your favourite drunk

RE: Post your favourite drunk

RE: Queen of England visit to Dublin should it go ahead

Make it a condition that they foot the bill not our government, As far as I know they are paying for their own security so may as well throw in the cost of a referendum too, Not like they are short of cash, I dont think anybody could quantify their wealth
