Seems like someone would have at LEAST one issue that is important to them that would be lost if one or the other gets elected.

Seems like they would want to vote if only on just that one thing.

It is hard for me to comprehend that someone can't find some ONE THING and let their voice be heard.

Doesn't that mean anything to you?

This isn't just a little city election, where school bonds are going to pass or fail, or the library is getting remodeled.

I agree, our country is falling apart, infrastructure failing, schools closing, bridges and roads crumbling, children and adults without health care, cutting back on fire and police staff, teachers getting laid off, prisons letting violent criminals out because there is no room, yet billions of $ leaving our country.

We really need to strengthen our country from the bottom up, and stay out of everyone elses' business.

Why do some things happen like they do?

Reason, Season and Lifetime

People always come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,

it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty,

or to provide you with guidance and support,

to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually.

They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are.

They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Your profile says you have a three-year old boy. That's fantastic. You can have a lot of one on one time. I think that you will be a wonderful dad, because you are asking for advice. That is the first indication of having an open mind and wanting to do good things for your son. You look like a really happy guy in your picture. Keep listening to your boy, keep talking to him. Let your love for him guide your actions.

Don't forget to read books on the subject. I found this book helpful:

Don't forget to take him to a church of some kind.
Enroll him in classes for his age, sports, arts and crafts, whatever he is intersted in.
In places like that, you may even meet a single mom.
