I hear ya , Im in the exact same boat......no one around here has made my heart skip a beat, well honestly - i'm not sure its still in there.......let me check I think I lost it.........can you help me find it pweezzz
It is almost impossible to love a man as much as your kids. As mothers, to love our children is a motherly instinct that cannot be described or matched. Although, our love for you will be different than the love of our children. It is nevertheless AS important!!!
I think so, just because intelligence and independence is not generally something a man is use to. Not all men of course but .....I think some men may fear not being able to keep up.
Turn on: Tickle me very softly all over, nice soft lips that know how to kiss, being told "hey babe, I love that color on you, but the other sweater would look real nice on you tonight", bringing me my coffee "just right" in the morning.
Turn off: UGLY inside and out, personality dysfunctions, socks with sandals......
Turn on: Stature of "presence" without arrogance, a man that smiles, bald with goatie, nice poochy bum, being able to laugh at himself, compassionate, uncomplicated,
Turn off: Don't brush your teeth when you wake up, farts laughter, unable to color coordinate, HUGE beards, close mindedness, arrogance and self absorption.
Ok, we've all been out on dates and met people and we've all been in relationships at some point in our lives.
Biggest Pet Peeve you have come across - the one thing that makes you so crazy that it would break all possibilities to a possible future with someone
Biggest Turn On - one that is an absolute MUST!!!
I know we gotta think about it but let's do this!!!!
Pet Peeve: Absolutely despise a man that has can't deal with a situation - gets all nervous and flustered when faced with a "situation"!! Makes me think he is weak and unable to process life.
Turn On: Brains - I love brains - to converse about topics that otherwise wouldnt be discussed - such as the depth of human psyche, or the politics of a very foreign country. I love a man that can hold a conversation. But I don't want so much intellect that it takes away from personality and joys of life either.
Well you asked......here are a bunch of my own quotes I have made over the years.......
Try to understand why people have no common sense!!! Maybe it's just my common sense that is not so common!
What are the lessons of life? For each of us they are different, but for me, I think I'm on a path of understanding, as well as growth.
Who are we do judge certain people for certain things, I mean it's not like we were all made to think the same, feel the same and act the same.........what a boring life that would be!
Our children are our sanctuary of lessons passed, to allow us to focus on today in order to make their tomorrow better.
Mistakes are knowledge that has been learned, continuation of those mistakes is inability to admit to your wrongs.
Regrets are wishes trapped in a bottle at sea, waiting to be rediscovered and opened to our minds; yet they will remain in the distance past until we are willing to learn the uncertainty of that experience.
The human mind is only as open as the key that locked it.
For every new experienced missed, its an opportunity available to someone else.
My misery is everyone else's problem, my happiness is my sanctuary.
Wishes are only as real as you make them. Dreams are unconscious choices that you are not bringing to the forefront of your life.
I love the way you expressed that. It is so true, religion teaches us to hold ONE view...........YET if that was the case then there would be only ONE religion...........the world is a vast place with many different views, no one is more right then the other..........THESE ARE THE LESSONS OF MY LIFE. So many different aspects to observe and learn from.......WHY close the door to it!!!
Jessie, I absolutely believe in your viewpoint, yet I also feel like we have been fed alot of hogwash......and I don't think he wants you to have mercy on his soul, if he did - he would ask God to!! Sorry, no disrespect shown here!
I had mentioned in another thread about the aspects of faith and believing.........basically stated - as a Christian ( which I was a very devout follower at one time - 3 years bible school and all)...as long as you do as the good book tells you - you are a believer, the moment you question anything in the book you then become a skeptic......isn't God the one that gave us the option of being of free mind and choices. When Eve fed Adam the apple - God could have just ended it - but no HE decided to make it a CHOICE!! Therefore I am choosing to question what God SUPPOSEDLY said!
My ex bf use to say - "I can see God sitting yup there on his throne - looking down and nodding his head saying.......NO THATS NOT WHAT I SAID!!!
RE: Are Independent,'out spoken, funny and smart woman scarey to men?
Gotta love intelligence.........and personality........they should go hand in hand....
