Life throws so many curves at us in so many ways. It's a matter of choice how we choose to take it.
We can sit back and feel sorry for ourselves or we can get up and move forward.
Make it a learning lesson, knowledge gained and opportunity provided.
We come across many people for many different reasons, we may not always know why, but, there is always something to learn from it. We have relationships that dont last or work out, but we have learned a new venture and open our horizons.
This is what life has to offer and its up to each and every one of us to take the lessons and move forward with tomorrow.
Blaming others for our choices, simply means we refuse to look at our own issues. Stop pointing the finger outward and apply that finger onto oneself. Face yourself - learn from it - learn from others, be a better you!
Ones pain is only as deep as one allows it to be. Ones happiness is only as strong as we choose.
Remember that at the end of the day.................you only have yourself to look at and if you are not smiling, you better figure out what you need to do to smile tomorrow! And it don't come from a computer screen or a neighbour or even a friend.....it comes from within, until you find that internal calm, there is nothing anyone or anything can do to make that happen for you.
A friend of mine traveled abroad and met some guy from Toronto(he had a canadian flag pin on his shirt) and asked him what part of Toronto he was from and the dude couldn't answer him - my friend was wondering WTF when the dude looked at him and said - I'm an American - carrying a canadian flags makes my trip much more bearable.

the reason you dont hear them talk about others countries regimes is because they don't know anything about what or who or why? That is pretty much the bottom line. Yes there are many regimes out there that are incorrect but then again the western world has their own corruption as well - Americans and Guantanamo bay for one - this is completely illegal - yet it remains. Canadians forever just follow the Americans because we are neighbors - this frustrates our people because most of the time there is no reason for us to be involved in the LEAD of the Americans. Most Americans will travel the world and some carry Canadian flags because the world seems them in a very bad light. It's not the people of America that is the problem - its the leaders. Yes many other regimes are corrupt and wrong - but the only time we should get involved is for the sake of the PEOPLE of that country, not what they are going to get at the end of the day - OIL etc...Nothing is black and white - there are many grey areas....
The only thing I can tell you is be very careful. Whatever information you are giving him, make sure there is no financial details provided and make sure he doesn't ask for real personal stuff like where you live EXACTLY and all that kind of stuff. The only advice I would give you is GO WITH YOU GUTT - it never lies
