"Boys did the very same thing to other boys back then too."
That was never my experience....I have always observed that women do this to themselves much more so than men.Men simply don`t sit around discussing the latest fashions.
Example....A high percentage of womens profiles state that they look good in this or that or that they "clean up" well. Ladies....I`m simply not making this up....Sorry if I offended anyone, but the way I see it ....it is self imposed.
Well...don`t you think it`s because women put the pressure on themselves to always look good and in fashion?I`m serious here gals.Where does the judging start from?
I see you live in Missouri......I did a Google search and Missouri does not allow Conjugal visits.....Sorry Kay...but you will have to move to the Left Coast where everything is turned topsy turvy.....
Funny thing about polls....So far{and it is 12:52 MST the results are 40% at home and 60% all of the above which includes "at work"....but nobody wants to pull the trigger on that one and none of the other specific buttons have been pushed. This is just a theory but...I suspect a lot of people do this while sitting at a computer "at work".......Just a theory..We shall see how this works out....Hell....it`s anonymous so go ahead and pull the the trigger folks......
More specifically..."and I'd like to hear from them if they ever denied a man or woman a job because that person was overweight.."
I was in the trucking business my whole life{dump trucks}and because of the nature of that kind of operation{relatively short hauls}where a driver is in and out of the truck several times per day I found out through experience that certain things wear out faster the bigger your body weight. Some of the items that wear out quicker are steering wheels, driver seats, arm rests, floor mats, window rollers and running boards. This is all true.I was in business for over forty years and you learn soon enough what costs you money. The other issue is how insurance companies look at over weight people and this is sadly just part of the decision making that goes into hiring certain people. As friends I have nothing against over weight people, but when you are in business you have to consider the economic impact of your hiring practices. As far as female employees....I only had them working in the office.
