Stereotypes are everywhere. Lots of people want to be part or be identical to it, but what about in using cosmetics? is that part of women´s vanity ...or not?

I don't spend much.
Too much make-up actually AGES you not makes you look younger. Particularly in the under-eye department. I never, ever put make-up on directly under my eyes. I only wear cosmetics not tested on animals and that is so much more expensive so..... I am frugal, of course.
Most women are more beautiful than they give themselves credit for any wear make-up they don't need to. There are so many who look stunning with the au-natruel look. Women have a knack of under-estimating themselves, we are conditioned to do that. Realise your self-worth, ladies...!

I`d wonder to the reaction of men to the "Nothing, I am natural" option. I think men expect it, want it even.

That's what my grandmother told me. Her skin was wonderful all of her life.
I tried makeup in my teens and didn't like the way it felt or looked. Now I just buy an organic scrub. K thinks it might just be repackaged marinade but it works.
I wear a little bit of mineral foundation and lip gloss for my daily routine! I might put on some eyeliner and mascara to jazz up a bit! But not too much I just want to look natural but a little better!
Jewel food stores have a bargain bin where they mark all their left over makeup with low prices. You can save a bundle on perfectly good makeup that way or you can also save on Ebay where they sometimes have name brands for way less. However, let the buyer beware. Really look at the item, description and feedback and make sure they have a lot of really good feedback. Ulta has some decent prices on makeup too. I need to get more foundation. Foundation is over 10.00 a bottle now just for the cheap stuff. Razors for leg shavers are over 10.00 too. Its almost cheaper to just buy an electric shaver. Less nicks and burns too. Wal Mart and dollar stores have makeup. Makeup makeup makeup!

Yes, its true. All the women in my family have worn little or no make-up and they have fabulous complexions even into their eighties and beyond. I'm not so fortunate as I wore make-up in my youth but I am blessed with good genes and I never, ever, ever wear foundtion directly below the eyes. That enhances wrinkles, in fact, not reduces nor covers them up. Try it, trust me.... a woman looks fab with no foundation under the eye. It will take years off.....
PS. don't wear an eye-shadow the same colour as your eyes. A different colour will intensify your eyes, not your eye-shadow or eye-liner. I have brilliant blue eyes and I wear a smoky light brown or smoky subtle purple with light brown or indigo eyeliner..... NEVER blue!

Never wear foundation ...
Don't wear eye-shadow very often.
I buy one pot of face cream, one mascara, one black eyeliner a year.
The rest of the make up : eye-shadows and face blusher etc lasts me for years and years because hardly ever used.
I regret spending loads on cosmetics, but then I realized that it does nothing for me, but makes cash for cosmetic companies. Now I don't spend money on that. Some makeup only, not to look too pale.
