OMG.....so sad to lose his wife and especially their child. We are supposed to die before our children do. I think that's wonderful that he has found happiness in the senior years of his life. It may not be like the love he had the first time around but it's a good second best...

I think they are rare because of how drastically times have changed.

72 years ago hubby and wife had an argument and they talked about it.

Today, hubby and wife have an argument and she calls Missy Sue and he goes to the bar or the garage. Lack of communication.

A relationship shouldn't be judged by the good times...it should be judged how you handle it when things go wrong...

I have been saying that for years. CS is a site to connect singles. It doesn't mean those singles have to be looking for a relationship. It's just to connect people. I think they should have named it ConnectingPeople but when the site was born it was of a dating site. Now there are more single people who want to stay single but also want to communicate with others.

I am here just for the chatter. To meet people from others countries to hear about their way of life and to discuss subjects that pertain to all of us.

I used to let all the complaints bother me but those days are gone. I have just as much right to be here as a young person who is looking for a date. You're not an intruder. I've never seen you before and I hope that will change...See you another time..

Making Puzzles

Wait a minute......wait a minute....I didn't make a puzzle three hours ago. I made one yesterday I think in the early afternoon.

Sumpin is wrong with the CS puzzle maker clock and I'm not the first one to think that.

By the way, the sun is shining and the air is brisk. Just the way I like it...

I'm a news junkie so I need my tv. I don't want to sit here at the desk to watch the news for an hour on a small computer screen, or watch a football game that could take five hours on a computer screen. That would be horrible.

I also like to watch the history and national geographic channels. I could live without a tv if I had to, but as long as I have the choice, I'll keep it.

Making Puzzles

When I attempt to make a puzzle I often get a message that I am allowed to make only 1 puzzle per day and I understand that.

My problem is that I often don't remember what time it was the last time I made a puzzle because I don't make one the same time everyday.

So, my suggestion is, when the message comes up could you please incorporate into that message something like.....YOU MADE A PUZZLE 22 HOURS AGO STUPID. ..You can leave off the "stupid" part.

That would be extremely helpful to me and one other member who I know also loses track of time when she last made a puzzle.
