Connecting singles the definition of (16)
I think what annoys some people is when they view a profile & the person is single & not in a relationship & it states they are not looking for a relationship either. I don't want to get into an argument about it but that annoys me too slightly as why on earth don't those people go onto a non dating website to play games / post on threads etc.

I know the women like to protect themselves, and women certainly have a right to be safe. But, as I've said many times before, it's frustrating when I want to thank someone for a great puzzle, an intelligent post, a great profile, etc., and I go to their profile and it's not accessible. No warning, no reason, no obvious filter, just the little blue box that lets me know I'm not gonna be seeing the profile.

Martia: I love this forum its got the of the sweetest bunch of people on here and I enjoy thier company and feedback.
But every now and then I feel like a pretender when there is a complaint about those of us who are in a relationship and still attend this forum.
This site is called Connecting Singles OK... I am single but in a relationship! I dont flaunt it or forever remind other members all the time (why should I)and nor should others...........
I am also Connecting in that I try to contribute, give my opinion also give support when someone is down... as they do me (thanks guys)you have no idea how much you have helped in the dark days.

I wouldn't pay attention to what others say or think. Connecting singles has the option of just looking for friends so if it is a dating site; why would that option be there? People just need to chill out. The forums are fun and interesting so why shouldn't it be open to whoever wants to contribute. Have fun and screw what the others say.

I have been saying that for years. CS is a site to connect singles. It doesn't mean those singles have to be looking for a relationship. It's just to connect people. I think they should have named it ConnectingPeople but when the site was born it was of a dating site. Now there are more single people who want to stay single but also want to communicate with others.
I am here just for the chatter. To meet people from others countries to hear about their way of life and to discuss subjects that pertain to all of us.

Why feel rejected or annoyed by the choices that people make for themselves? Those choices have absolutely NOTHING to do with you and everything to do with the person making them. Reminding yourself that their choices have not been made with YOU in mind might help not take it personally!!!

Morning Martia I am single and I'm not looking for a relationship. I am here to chat on the forums and if possible get to the meets it's nice to catch up with CS peeps around Australia and you never know if I travel I may meet some OS CS peeps
Great to add more friends to your life.I enjoy the interation and debates on CS and I don't venture onto the dating side of this site , that is what I like about this site you have choices where's other sites seems just for dating ?? only which I have found a lot of men use it to score that makes me mad
I don't mean all men do but a lot are like that which to me tells me dating sites aren't that successful. JMO

I can't speak for "those" people Darren but I joined CS 5 years ago when I was looking for someone. I'm no longer looking for a date but I do enjoy the banter, discussions and the fun that goes on here. I've made cyber friends and I feel comfortable here.
The fact that CS has in the registration "Not Looking" seems to me that it's not a problem with them if single/not looking folks hang around here.
