RE: Enlighten me please!

I couldnt agree with you more, however you also have to realise that not everyone on here is what they profess to be - there are a lot of snakes and sometimes nice people can get sucked in. Some people come on here because they like to wind people up and some come on to play games with other people and some have a sense of humour and some have no humour at all and worse - dont understand anyone else's humour and then ridicule or just be plain rude. So you can see its a bit like walking through a mine field and having to watch your back the whole time. There are genuinly some really nice people who are helpful and kind but the others just have their own agenda.
Hope you have been enlightened.

RE: ARE PEOPLE THAT REFUSE TO EXCEPT HONORS FROM THE QUEEN OUT OF ORDER ..AND SHOULD BE SENT TO PRISON ?

Couldnt agree with you more Trishwave This surely is the worst country in the world for the " rich getting richer as the poor get poorer".
When I first went to live in Greece I couldnt understand how almost everyone I met, owned their own house and didnt have a mortgage. How could that be I wondered! Then I figured it out. Going back many many years people settled on land and claimed it as their own and then over the generations it was handed down to their children and their children and so on ... to this day.
Here in England the Monarchy owned the land and handed it down to their own and as favours etc., so the poor were left with nothing and so now to get a little piece of the action we have to mortgage our souls until now our children would have to be doing 3 jobs to be able to buy a shoebox size house.
Come the revolution brothers ...cheering

RE: what's the first 5 things you would change about this country if the made you prime minister today ?

RE: Just a quick msg .........

Hello everyonewave
Chris I dont know what you have done or what you have said but I just wanted to say that I dont believe you would ever hurt anyone on purpose - maybe Ash is just feeling a bit vulnerable because of other things and maybe it will all sort itself out - I hope she will be ok and that things get better for her and as for you Chris - you are a lovely guy who has helped cheer loads of people up on this site so I dont think anyone will be falling out with you just let the matter drop now and give her some space. Go and have a pint in your Nuts club!!

RE: does it matter that younger men find older women attractive

Does that mean that you dont fancy me then Mickeytongue

RE: Flirting etiquette.

Just been having a little think about flirting and I dont think that flirting online is remotely the same as flirting in real life. Even sending blooming text messages to people can get misunderstood so it must be like opening a whole tin of worms if you get flirting wrong on line.
In real life I dont even think that there has to be an attraction physically - sometimes flirting with someone who is just so cheeky can be great fun. I do think though that there has to be a mutual respect for each other for it to work and for no one to take offense.

RE: special place you have good memories of .

Harry's Bar in Singapore on a Friday evening or the Fullerton Hotel for brunch on a Sunday morning - wish I was back there.

RE: Flirting etiquette.

Hiya Dandy - so who is flirting on her then - anything interesting laugh

RE: Flirting etiquette.

Hello everyonewave
So Aircon - sounds like you have met someone on line and they think you are a bit of a flirt - or maybe you know you are and you dont want them to get the wrong idea? Some people are flirts all their lives but remain true to the person they are with. After all it really is just harmless fun - and if that isnt true then its because you want it to be more and so then you shouldnt be in a long term relationship - for me if I met someone who flirted so long as I trusted him it wouldnt matter. If people cant accept you for what you are then you shouldnt be with them.

RE: who is alone

RE: has anybody read any good books recently ?

crying if only I had kept some of the cars I have had - they would be worth more than my bloody house!! I'm going to get my old photos out in a while and look at them - trip down memory lane
TRA3a, Triumph Stag, Jaguar (think it was 3.8 - it was two tone in colour), 64 Mustang - left hand drive, Sweeny type Ford Granada, Scirocco Storm - and if I ever won the lottery I would be searching for a Jensen Healey sports car.wave

RE: has anybody read any good books recently ?

Pies and Prejudice by Stuart Maconi - its mainly about the North of England and how the South of England view the North - having lived in both the South and the North - its really interesting and also very funny.
p.s. my first car was a Triumph TR3a, red with black leather seats - wish I had it now as it would probably be worth a fortune.

RE: descibe how your feeling use as many words as you like

I have just come back on long enough to post this especially for Jason - but also to say thanks to the people that posted nice things about me.
Jason I regarded myself as a friend to you - many was the time in the beginning when you were downhearted I would cheer you up with messages and as I dont have any of your personal phone numbers or e mails addresses nor those of your lady friend then it is for sure, not me that has given them ou I would just like to make that clear to everyone on the board and Jason knows that I would never have revealed anything of his personal life even if I knew anything. I also have never been laughing at you or her, however I have felt incredibly sad for you. Read through your posts and see how many you have posted and said nice things about her and see how many times she has responded with something nice about you - HARDLY EVER! I hope for your sake I am wrong and believe me if in time I am proved to be - then I will apologise - but I dont think I am!
I havent left the site for this reason though. The site has become boring and whilst I like everyone else like a laugh and enjoy a joke some of the innuendo has become a little too much - a little is not a problem - but on so many threads and even the serious ones end up being hijacked with crap.
Please please guys dont get me wrong - I have truly enjoyed some of the fun we have had but I really cant enter into conversation about which type of Durex has the best lubrication - for crying out load.
Just wanted to make myself clear - hope I will talk to some of you again some time.

RE: descibe how your feeling use as many words as you like

I'm feeling very sad at the moment. This site has really changed. A lot of nice people have left. There are still some nice people left on the forum and I would just like to say thank you for some of the good fun we have had on here. One particular person has been a friend from the beginning but he is obviously being manipulated and told who he can speak to and who he cannot and he has therefore blocked me from sending him messages. How sad for him. When he finally wakes up and smells the coffee he will have no friends left -and I dont think it will be too long before he sees that day. I only speak the truth and if he cant see what other people can see then I really feel sorry for him. You are living in a dreamworld my friend and being made a fool of.
I am leaving the site - I may return at some stage but right now I think I need a break from it. Thanks again to those of you who I have got to know quite well and for the fun we have had.

RE: when was the last time you went on vacation and where did you go

I went to a Greek village up in the mountains of North Western Greece near to the Albanian border -it was fabulous and peaceful and the local people were lovely.

RE: Why do...

Blooming heck Chris you caught me cheating - I'll go on the naughty mat nowrolling on the floor laughing

RE: Why do...

Some people are just born cheaters - always looking for the greener grass and telling lies to their partners - maybe its a sicknessconfused

RE: I Just Dont Believe Maddies Dad

This just sends shivers up my spine - I hear all that you JC and Dandy say and I know you are probably right but I just cannot for the life of me contemplate the thought of it all. The first 10 days of this investigation actually made me physically ill and I dont even know the family but every morning and every evening it was the first and last thing I did, check the news and it was like a black cloud hung over me - it has lessened but the thoughts dont truly go away as to where she may be and more so, why she was taken.

RE: I Just Dont Believe Maddies Dad

Even someone as wicked as to take a child would surely know that the parents are going through agony not knowing - I just cant imagine what kind of people could do this. What a sad reflection on society when you have to scare the s...t out of kids to keep them safe.
My daughter had to make her two small boys " stranger aware" before they started school. I was out with the boys one day when a man in a queue smiled at my 4 year old grandson. He looked up at me and in a very loud voice he asked " Is he going to take me away and cut me up?" God knows why that thought came into his mind but I could have died of embarassment and the guy didnt look too chuffed either! But I guess you can never be too relaxed when the safety of your kids is in question.

RE: Car Boot Queen

2 Weeks roll eyes I should have been a teacher rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Car Boot Queen
