Who is looking forward to the USA 4th of July?

I actually usually have a great time on the 4th........was it only last year went to one of my fellow musician friends outdoor concert....man..it was a great time....a whole bunch of us singing along and dancing to the grooves... also earlier that day had been at a fundraiser for special olympics and alot of bikers where there to help raise funds...twas a good day!! So almost happy 4th try to have a good one!!!

One of the few times that have ventured out was to a notions store...and this one chick had blocked off the aisle with two carts....interesting...but the problem was needed an item on the shelf of course of that aisle.....took her a bit to untangle the carts but we both remained polite...ahhh..I was just in there to get the item and get out...the days of browsing are over...and left heer to reassemble her protection...and got out of there fast....so have art supplies and so of course it is beginning to rain...Murphy.s law I guess....geezzz....so had to go back into store to get a huge bag to cover supplies....wandered down outside to a canopy to wait out the rain....anyways......

Indiana has backed off from letting all restrictions go....the state next to it Illinois is now saying that you come here you need to hunker down....the USA needs some celebratory time but in a safe environment....time for BYOB

Over in the midwest know of people who know people who have had it....such as a nurse...also weeks ago asked my son who works in a hospital i Indiana and it is real enough ....and so far in the testing over here in this state further west lots of testing and 15% of people have it....also a daughter in law of mine works in a hospital setting also....and yeah it is real enough....

Yes...that is very difficult...I have a friend whom that happened to also she wasnt able to be with her Mom on her birthday...so I feel for both of you and others going through all of that .....and I relate to what you stated ...cause last month last time out went to a health store and tried to keep my distance but this one lady kept getting near me....it was rather nerve wracking first time in my life didn.t enjoy shopping so got outta there real fast....the prices were so high...even higher than the top of the line health store and with that was my last shopping expedition.

There you go....and yes you are lucky cause you are at home....not trapped......I am hoping that working on a complicated puzzle may free me to think things out.... thankfully my friends provide the vino....relax once in awhile in the livingroom that I have taken over as my space...wow....

Everyone else who has responded has been light hearted...if anyone has ever read my stuff am usually on a light side....never complained about the tp crisis or anything...but here I am actually not at home but further west at a friends home who would ever think that all of this would have happened that is quite something ....my car was being repaired so they picked me up had planned on staying for awhile and then all of this wasn.t worth the risk of traveling back....so...anyways to continue on with this being told to xstay at home...but it is not my home...there must be comfort amongst all of us who have the blessing of being in ones own place surrounded by items from your life and not just a few suitcases was in the midst of moving...so all of my things are in storage...was in the middle of relocating...came out for a visit and WHAM....use to be in a choir and use to sing for my supper now I feel like am back in college doing things to help out...like the ole room and board thing....so wow do I ever feel for people traveling and then stuck...okay on the bright side of things am blessed that wasn.t stuck on a ship...that friends of friends are being generous with me....that I do have a few things hobby wise to use over and over...that the tv works even though it is just antannae tv , that have a computer I can utilize, also that I brought a few books with me...luckily have a few seasons of clothes so when it warms up have some lighter fabrics to wear....and looking forward.....that am in an area that have been to before....does this mean I should relocate here....I wonder! A bit difficult to make decisions right now....if I went to where my family is.....would be in a hot spot of the virus...ugh so hence for I believe the first time ever this chickey chick vented.... yeah I got out my frustration and sense of feeling trapped!

and oh yeah the scammers annoy me more than ever before....kinda of trivial I realize...just goes to show that this gal is having major cabin fever.....

Am drinking some Silican vino during this crisis....did I spell correctly...geezz it is 3 in the a.m. and as usual wake up like what? is going on....followed by an extreme sadness with so much misery..... but thankfully it is a bit nicer my life is so crazy...just go outside to pick up sticks so can mow later on...geeezz......watched some kids the other day whiz by in a golf cart...ahhh...youth....

Wow some really great responses here....well I lived in Italy for a very short time as a student....but it created a great love in me for their country.....as an artist....and having studied theo/philo it twas the place to be and if we ever get out of this mess would love to return there!!

Once upon a time it use to be that Italy was the best place to live and that the people live the longest despite what is supposedly unhealthy drinking quantities of vino...and eating rich foods and hanging with their loved ones....now that is not possible any longer am not surprised so many Italians are succombing to the illness without all of that interaction they thrive on it...

ps....yes women can be immature also....sometimes I wonder why I sought and received a degree in multiple fields cause outside of the academia world where does that fit in.....seriously folks I value intelligence more than simple good looks....but like most of us fall for a handsome face....

Very well stated...the opposite is also nauseating an older guy who manipulates...the way I figure it since females on the norm usually live longer...get involved with a younger guy that way you pass at pretty much the same time....most men are immature so you might as well have a cute younger one...lol....only thing is there then you have the thought of when is he going to drop you for a young college chick...oh well...at this time does it matter cause who is dating right now anyways!

Yes there are cause a friend mentioned that he found an old container of clorox wipes and it mentions coronavirus and it is years old...kills the one discovered a long time ago....

I just love that movie...my family belonged to a private country club and so some of the movie was so real...it is hilarious....especially the parts about snobbery and special golf clubs...
