Hey Wash,
I can jump 12feet straight up in the air, good for a Grannie, but i can only do this when there's a snake at my feet, just think could have been in the olympics...and as for bungey jumping there's absolutely no way... whenever i have watched film footage of bungey jumpers, i always hear a plopping sound, that must be all their bits falling off, lol,pmsl I often forget that other people share my fears too!!

Was looking at other members pics and i'm not the only one taking my own photo, have seen a lot with one arm up, lol. Oh well i thought i'd try putting a photo up again, better to let them see the real wrinkles rather than the fake ones.

Happy Saturday evening to you all!

I had a pleasant evening last night catching up with friends. Then had a visit from a male friend so we had coffee and a chat which was great. He was one of the few male friends of mine who understands why i joined this site and why i love it. He has been on his own for about 2years now and not bothered about looking for another woman (a complicated story). Today i met up with some other friends at the markets, then went for lunch etc.

Now i feel like i'm on my date with you guys, LOL, I hope you are all well, happy and had a good day x

I joined in a bit late, i see you got some good recipes... another idea with lemons is to freeze them whole or bury them in sand until summer and they are great for deterring ants. You just cut a lemon in half and leave it in the corner of the bench or any where ants will attempt to appear, ants will not go past a lemon

and if you want to keep flies away from the table just put some crushed cloves on the table and they won't land on it.

Sorry Serene, i clicked out and didn't see your question until now, which is actually saturday morning, lol ooops...

i went to the RSL club last night and had beef schnitzel with garlic prawns topping, salad chips etc and had dessert, sticky date pudding. Stuffed myself, don't usually eat a big evening meal. Had fun though, 4 of us, introducing each other to friends.

Had dinner at home tonight, Chilli beef with rice pasta and real tomatoes, it was beautiful, then went out to another club to catch up with some friends and have a drink or 2..

I was in this position a couple of years ago, now it seems to be all happening again with a new set of people. They think that you are doing nothing and always available for them.

I need to gather some good answers together to fight this. Been used and discarded for way too long...
