RE: Philadelphia Vs Iraq

My point was two wrongs dont make a right.

How can you relate Afganistan to Iraq? We are in Afganistan because of its relation to Osama Bin Laden. Afganistan provided safe haven for Al Queda too name one reason why we are there.

Saddam and Iraq had nothing to do with Osama and 9/11.

RE: what is it with men

well for me personality is huge. What the person values is probably right up there.
Appearance is important to me, but its a combined package i like. I cant just kiss anyone, i have to be attracted them them for it to be more than friends.

Thats just my views.wave

RE: Friday night, gag me with a thread.

Going to the hockey game in a couple hours. Looking forward to a couple beers after a long week.beer

RE: Philadelphia Vs Iraq

I dont believe a war in Iraq was needed to oust Saddam. He was no threat to the US.

So its ok for Saddam to murder thousands and the America government to kill several hundred thousand more Iraq's. Puhhlease.
Bush is a killer, he just does it differently, with a suit on, from his oval office.

RE: Philadelphia Vs Iraq

modern technology is helping that IMO.

Hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's have died due to US bombing in Iraq over the past several years. Yes, i am including the first gulf war. How can you compare murder in one city to the the US invasions of Iraq? That has got to be one of the most absurb analogies i have heard.

No pun intended, just my view.cheers

RE: Philadelphia Vs Iraq

4 plus years and counting is what i got. The US has achieved squat in Iraq. More unnecessary deaths to follow.doh

RE: Philadelphia Vs Iraq

That war will nver been won.

You would think US politicians would have learned something from previous wars, like Vietnam. doh

The war in Iraq is a continous blood bath with no conclusion in sight.

RE: Why is it that it costs a whole heap of money..........

I agree eating healthy is a CHOICE.

if you can spend 5 bucks on a big mack or chips, chocolate and pop, you could also choose to spend the same 5 bucks on veggies, fruit, nuts and seeds.

Big box stores have discount prices on their products and do have organic foods as well. I am not sure about the US but in Canada we have the Real Canadian Wholesale Store too name with with excellent prices on healthy products.

In Canada, the government is actually starting to do something about the obesity epidemic in North America. They have recenlty put in regulations that make the food makers mark their products with fat, calorie, and nutrional content.

People have to read the ingredients and these newer labels. The government cannot do everything. Citizens need to educate themselves too and take responsiblity.

The Canadian government is also in the processor of banning trans fats. These fats are killers for obesity and general health. More and more products are now stating "0 trans fat" becuase this should be regulated and law soon.

People need to start taking some action for themselves and stop making excuses that eating healthy is so expensive or that the government needs to do more.

RE: still miss the ex

i dont miss her. but i do care for her. Not in a romantic love way but i would never want to see her hurt. We had 11 yrs and two children together. i wish her the best.

Inspirational Quotes

There are two things; ACTION and the IMPACT behind the action. Even if the action is ordinary, the impact must be positive, productive and creative.

Should a parent be accountable

Hey Rose,
Interesting story. WOW.
If her son was under the age of 18, as you stated then my opinion is the parents are responsible. i dont know enough of about law, regarding eviction to really comment on that.

Should a parent be accountable

Yes, understandable. There are many disabilites that are mental or developmental in nature that arent always reconizable on a quick view.

RE: What is the Most Romantic Thing That You have Ever Done for Someone on Valentine's Day?

i want you to do that for mekiss WOW

RE: Living with a SLOB..neigh or yeah?

Yup,head banger

and clutter everywhere always creates stress. An unneccesary stress too when our lives are filled with enough of it already.

RE: Eating Healthy as a Single Person

Yup, i agree with your last statement Tracy. A large part of eating healthy is will power. Being able to say yes to veggies and no to the potatoe chips. Easier said than done for most of us, coz we love my chips and nacho's. But i try to eat them in moderation.

Habits is a huge thing too. I was a poor shopper years ago. Now i stay on the outer isles of a grocery store, where you fine the veggie department and meats etc. The middle isles are the ones to stay away from, where you find the processed foods.

I am not sure about back east, but The Real Canadian Superstore has great prices on organic foods and healthy choices.

I dont agree with the comment that eating healthy costs double. I belive it costs a little more but eating healthy is a choice.

RE: Do You Enjoy Your Dreams....
