Are you generally able to forgive and forget?

Just sharing my little experience here… once some one (say A) advised me to forgive and forget a particular person’s (say B) fault when I was already suffering by the harm caused by B. Then I lit a lighter and took the fire close to the dress of A and told him, let I burn you and after that when you will be mostly burn then if I ask you to forgive and forget me … will you be able to do it? He replied nothing being terribly angry on me!

I am speechless reading you life description… what to say? I think from this description I can learn a lot! I don’t believe to show sympathy because at your cold nights none of us were beside you… you yourself survived, I salute you!

This is a question of everyone’s personal choice and for me… all that I can say… it will not bother me because I shall be for her if and when needed! But wait... wait... still I don't have HER.

Thanks to every one who commented and voted here so far. Every explanation is thoughtful and has its own reasoning! Basing on distance, talkativeness & situation meeting time varies.

However, from my point of view I can say that things get easier only when we meet with the desired person in real life, because until we are not face to face, we don’t get the new person properly because if body language and expression is considered as factors, we can get those only in real life which certainly stays absent via any type of electronics medium. Since the question was all about this meeting time… so I think, for an international relationship it might take moths and nationally weeks or days… all is for safety reasons depending on other major/minor factors.
