I was married and expecting my first child by the time I was 18yrs old... my husband was 5yrs older than me, but whatever age he had been I feel I knew my mind at that age.

hapinness and love , matter more than age, even if only for a brief time. if a couple are beyond the age of consent etc, it is their choice and theirs alone. as for all the other stuff , if they want to be together and love each other then they will resolve the rest as it will pale into insignificance in relation to their love and hapinness together.
in the end of the day people are only passing through life in this world, dont let age or the dictates of others take your hapinness and love away . good and bad people come in all ages. there is no perfect age for relationships its the love that holds them together.:)

I only dated older men but then gave a younger one a chance. I tried to say age didn't matter, he was 9 yrs younger, but it really did. There are just things you can't understand until you have lived through them. It wasn't just age though, he had never been married, no kids and as much as he tried he couldn't understand me and it was really frustrating. Idk maybe age doesn't matter as long as they have had simiar life experences.
