I will make an effort to be less sharp with my kids when speaking with them.
I do will do for myself today:
Take a long bubble bath and turn my tub's jets on. I've had 1 in the past 5 months....calgon take me away!!!
Please feel free to add to this. I would like some ideas on things I need to make an effort on daily, and do for myself daily. We might all learn from each other.
I was 19...he was 30. Of course he didn't tell me. It wouldn't have made a difference to me. He said he was divorced. He was married. I married him and had 2 children with him. It's not the age difference that bothers me. It's the lies. My children are 23 and 21. They haven't seen him for 21 years. Now where's the fairness in lying about your age?
I enjoy being around "older" men. The man I date now is only 5 years older, but it makes a big difference to me only in his "maturity". It's just my preference....but not written in stone.
Nothing crazy. Just told him to slowly strip down, lay on the bed with all his "nakedness"...I left to change into something more comfortable...and I didn't come back.
Hey! I told him that if I wasn't back in 10 minutes to start without me!
I know that no matter who I'm with on Valentine's Day...my kids will give me the most beautiful hand made or boxed cards. Their love comes every day of the year. They will give me the best ones out of the package, they will sign them in their own writing, and give them to me with sparkles in their eyes. They may even make a picture at school showing their love.
I would have driven out there right now for that...until I got to the "looking into each other's eyes" part. You KNOW what that does to me!!! Ask Bobby!
