I watched Farscape a couple of times and didn't care for it. Firefly was GREAT, as was the movie they made out of it. It was a fox show and they just cancelled it before airing all the episodes. Fox does that kind of thing - I never did see the end of My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss. The best Brit sci-fi was Red Dwarf. They are supposed to make a movie sometime, but it keeps getting pushed back. I also loved Babylon 5! I could really go for a Babylon 5 movie!!!
It can be instantanous if it based only on looks I guess. That is important to most people. But when you start talking to someone you usually know it in the first 15 minutes. That seems to be the idea behind speed dating. You can tell if you share common interests in that amount of time.
Hard to say. They both went downhill. Those last Star Wars films were not too good and the last Trek film wasn't much either. The last Trek TV show wasn't bad, but they did not stay faithful to the history of the show. I hear that they may make a new Trek about the early days of Kirk. If that is no good then the balance goes back in the Star Wars side.
A lot of people don't even come here to get a date, but just to chat in the forums. There are plenty of dating sites out there. My profile is certainly not intended to maximize my chances of getting a date. I just wanted a place to be able to talk candidly about things.
He ran back in 87. Had to drop out after it was discovered that he plagerized a paper in college. He is actually a good public speaker when he keeps it under control, but sometimes be blathers on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on...
As a senator from a small state he has very little chance. That bad hair transplant is not going to help either. He could get ridiculed a lot for that.
Come to Vermont during October when the leaves change color. The foliage on all the hills here is beautiful. You see busloads of people come in just to see it. Leafpeepers.
I think teeth can be too white though. It doesn't look right. Do you remember the episode of Friends were Ross left the whitener on too long and his teet glowed in the dark?
I let my teeth go a bit while I was caring for my father at the end of his life - I just had too much to do. I am currently having dental work done because I know how impotant good teeth are to many people. A liitle stained or crooked is no big deal to me though.
I am just feeling out the situation out there in the dating world. I came here exclusively for the forums - I did not think a guy with a name like mine would interest women. But I thought I would stay here as myself and see what happens. It's not like it's costing me anything. A bit of time maybe. Some people have been pretty opinionated, but it doesn't bother me - everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I joined for the forums. I did not really expect much, so I used the name I have. But if there is some woman out there who is interested in a guy who has been saving himself all she has to do is send a message.
I read an article in the newspaper a few months ago about advances in hair cloning. they can take some of your hair follicles, clone them and inject them back into your balding areas where it grows. I am not sure how far away they are from having this procedure perfected, but when they do nobody will have to be bald if they want hair and have enough money to pay for it. I am sure it will still cost several thousand dollars.
Ok - I will confess. I DID buy some way before I joined this site. Mainly out of curiosity. I only wore it once or twice. I did let a woman friend of mine smell it and she though it was a pleasant odor. It did not send her into a mating frenzy though.
RE: Is there any way to find out how a person died?....Help!
What's wrong with asking the family and sending condolences along with it?
