Hi Constanza...seems you're easily pleased then?laugh laugh
Gin is delightful, I've found, ice cold with lime. However, it's renowned for being the spirit that makes you so mellow you end up in tears! It hasn't happened to me, but then I haven't had a gin in quite a while.

Have you heard "Brandy makes you randy, and Gin makes you SIN"! ?

RE: Which would you follow - your head or your heart?

I think my head has had far too much say over the years.....and the decision making is soh cut and dried! Consequently, - I'm still on my own! Perhaps following our heart is a bumpy ride, but at least it involves the thrills!! blushing sigh laugh

I'm not sure it was ever available in the US, but for a long time was a huge competition to Guinness, - maybe they put it and put it to rest??!

RE: Deep Thoughts

This is lovely, - and sad. sigh

I decided that my 'aloneness', needn't mean I have to be feel lonely, - and this helps to to enjoy my own company.

Besides, you're never alone......we're here!!

RE: What do you like to do in your free time??

Hi Bodhi, I'm so impressed...a man with such great humour and now showing yourself to be abundant in talent too!
Not to mention time management to fit all this free time indancing
It seems my only free time is the occassional wander onto this site, - which is good. Otherwise I can't get a bath in peace; was just sinking into hot scented luxury the other night, - chilled glass of wine on the loo seat at the ready, - when my 5 yr old boy,- already bathed, brushed and supposedly in bed, came running through shouting "weeaaaahhy...bafff"!!!sigh
The jammikes were off, the cold tap had to be turned on, and in came a ninja turtle, an alien, and huey, dewy and louie .... crying crying :
sigh:
Free time?? help help help

RE: Have you ever been in love before...

Has anyone else had my experience of being in love with someone who can't love you back, or it's the opposite, and you just can't feel the way about them they would love you to feel. Never, as I can recall, to be in a match, where the feelings are mutual, for more than 3 months!!!crying frustrated frustrated

RE: hi everyone

Hello Bertie. Am new here too, and appreciate your story, - we all have one remember. It's not much perhaps, but I find believing that although I may be 'alone' - I need NEVER be lonely.
I'm sure your kids will be very grateful for your strength. Be good to yourself.

RE: ADVANTAGES OF BEING A RED-NECK

How do I get to be one?

RE: ADVANTAGES OF BEING A RED-NECK

Sorry guys, that made no sense....I meant to say that I understood the term 'Redneck' to come from rural or farm workers, - who tend to get 'rednecks' from sunburn as they're bowed over most of the day!! Is this wrong? confused
As for our 'bluenecks', - they tend not to get much sun!!sigh

RE: ADVANTAGES OF BEING A RED-NECK

Now, please don't tell me this isn't where the term 'REDNECKS' come from!!????doh

RE: ADVANTAGES OF BEING A RED-NECK

Blue NECKS......it gets a bit chilly. Sunburn is a rare opportunity!

RE: ADVANTAGES OF BEING A RED-NECK

Hi SweetyKat, I got the racing bit, but I'm guessing some kind of testosterone fuelled stunt cars? As opposed to rally or formula?

RE: ADVANTAGES OF BEING A RED-NECK

Hello American friends.
Apologies for my ignorance...but someone please tell me what this 'nascar' is ???? (You understand I have a need to broaden my understanding of rednecks...we do mainly blue over here!!)laugh

RE: what type of work do you do

Nuala, where on earth do you find the will to sit on here after caring for 8 kids?? Hat's off to you applause
I used to be involved in Community Arts with 'challenging' and special needs kids. Now I'm at home full-time helping my 5yr son overcome Autism. And I love it!
Seems I was preparing for this! Isn't it strange how life works out?thumbs up
