RE: GF or BF has flu. how far will you go to take care of her/him?

I met my g-friend in 1998 and in 2002 she had a massive brain anerysm;in a full Coma for 2 1/2 yrs;5 hospitals;3 brain operations and 2 nursing homes.
I quit work;went bankrupt;took a nursing diploma and brought her home in 2005.She is in a wheelchair;quadraplegic and bed-ridden.I have been her 24/7 Caregiver for 11 yrs.My daily routine is like taking care of a child now and I feel so sad for her demise because she would have done the same for me.
I do the housework;medications;changing her depends products;monitor her for seizures;bed baths;finances;meals;snacks;etc.I have Nursing staff and Drs who make house calls to assist me.
Many Drs/Nurses have told me if they were sick;they would want a man like me to be by their side.I also was told many times to have a life separate from my situation and find love again.
THESE FORUMS CAN BE VERY CRUEL SOMETIMES SO PLEASE DONT RUN ME DOWN FOR BEING ON CS DATING SITE TO FIND A LOVING PARTNER BECAUSE I HAVENT HAD ANY INTIMACY WITH A WONDERFUL FEMALE SINCE 2002.

If you love him and obviously he loves you to be there for you but you said "it would never be" you appear to be looking for a future partner but not with him.I am sure he would feel hurt if he knew your true feelings.I think he wants more than just being friends or he wouldnt go through your trials with you.
True love is a partner that cares in times of trouble which is hard to find in this selfish "I,ME WORLD" today.Hang on to him and make a home together.

I agree totally.Early on if the chemistry is there,I would gladly offer my home address,my personal land-line phone #,my Drs office and even to my secretary at my Lawyers office.I would willingly give her References of past job status with day-time business phone #'s and their Extension line so she could verify what type of person I am about my Integrity,honest and trustworthiness as a man.
One other male on this Forum said that the man should visit her 1st and I agree under normal circumstances to make a date and pick her up at her door in his suit and flowers or a corsage,but today its different,especially living further away than the same city.
As a Male Hospice Palliative-Care Nurse,I am on call so much and cant leave my job for 2-3 weeks.

IN CANADA~ I was raised with guns on the family farm and as a retired Private Investigator and armed security guard and helped many people and put my life on the line.
Before I was allowed to own handguns or any guns we had to take a 10 week Hunters Safety Course;200 question exams;criminal background check;neighborhood checks;ex-wife checks,medical background and to top it off we had to take our hanguns to the local Police station to get fingerprinted and they copy the Serial #'s of our guns and when we take them to the gun range we have to notify the Police what time we are going and when we return and the route we are taking.
While in the home our guns have to be in a special case trigger locked and case locked and bullets are to be hidden and no keys are allowed to anyone but the gun owner.
I am a very responsible gun owner

I agree with Sir Larry the 3RD;This man just joined to chat with people and I think he is very lonely and hurt.Now he feels comfortable on the forums and trying to tell his story,some jump all over him.He seems to be a good provider;works hard but not getting the love in the home that the female should be providing.
I worked in the mines with a lunch~pail that I had to make;buy the groceries;pay the bills;take my children to the Drs for innoculations;make their lunch to take to school in Kindergarten after working the midnite shift while the wife slept in or ran the roads.My son and daughter always depended on me in times of trouble.
I am so happy that I was always there for them when my wife wasnt,I put them through University, now my daughter is the "World-Wide Entertainment Director" for "Cirque Du Soliel" and my Son is working at a good job in a factory.I gave them work ethics which no female would do that I had in my life.THe ones I met were "GOLD DIGGERS" and Lazy.
If you believe in a "Husband and Wife Love in the Bible" with our duties to protect our home and children;then give "LANKYCREWMAN" A BREAK AND WELCOME HIM.DONT MALE-BASH ANYMORE MEN.HE NEEDS UPLIFTING.
