In this situation, I would spend as much time as possible with my Dad, tell him how much you love him and what he has meant to your life.
We knew when my father was going too.. It gave me the time to tell him how important he was was to me and how much I love him. Since he has gone, I have never had to look back and wish I would have told him. Because I did. I miss him everyday, but he knew how much I loved and respected him!!
God Bless you :)
P.S. I just figured out what I would ask Santa for.. Peace and love for meiowcats and her family in this hard time of her life.
Ok am I reading this correctly?? You "would" ask her to marry you and she "would" of said yes? Ok you too!! Make some compromises, work it out and post the pictures!! (of the wedding of course) Best of luck you guys, if you love each other, then dad gum it, see what the rest of us can see.
It doesn't have to be like that. I haven't dated and my daughter is just now seven. I have been trying to protect her. But, if and when I start dating again, you can bet her safety and welfare will be at the top of my priority list. She will never be second best to anything, but she is also missing out if I could have met someone who would be great for both of us.
Haha well dang it all. I would love to have another child, all this water drinking was getting me NOWHERE. Have a great night everyone, I am off the the laundromat
Wonderful advice on the video taping. As many people "black out" while drinking, it sure could open your eyes to the way your really act while under the influence. Wish I had thought of this years back while married. He always conveniently "forgot" how he was acting and was able to deny it in his own mind. Having it on tape may have changed his behaviour if he could have seen the seriousness of the situation.
I think that at any age if you feel a family is "too much hard work" than you are the perfect one to decide not to. Having a family is work, very rewarding work, but if you don't want to put the time in, then by all means, DONT. Be happy with yourself. Have you ever heard of a "self fulfilling prophecy?" If you have the mind set that you will never get married, then you probably won't. Not everyone is suited to marriage or raising children. Just try to enjoy your life and try not to hurt anyone. Then you will be happy with or without ever being married ;) Best of luck to you in what ever you do :)
My daughter has the "backpack" every time she opens it, it sings that little song. Soon as she looks the other way............ it may have to disappear lol just kidding. I just make her take it in the other room so I don't keep hearing it.
Um wouldn't that be Warlock? And we have been "owned" by black cats in the past too. They decide if they want to keep you or not :) We had a very pretty little girl kitty with the prettiest green eyes.
Thank you all for your replies. And it did answer a question for me, it isn't the cat crossing my path, it is me crossing "his" path. I have often wondered about this. Not that it changes anything, just one of those nagging the chicken or the egg questions.
I love all animals and of course would have adopted this one if he didn't run so fast. I can't stand to see animals in the street. Maybe that is why we have a "zoo"
I sure would appreciate the history. I never thought much of it until the 7 year old started playing 700 questions ;) She is kicking me off now, she wants to play her games, but I will be back later to read. Thanks so much!!
Well, I don't actually own any cats, but feed the strays that live around my house. Is that close enough? And, by the way, I feed them all, no matter what color they are. The black ones get just as hungry as the tabby ;)
Wow, ok, that would make me change my beliefs a bit. So, it is bad luck if they cross in front of you? I think things happen for a reason, not because of the color of a kitty, but I am often proven wrong ;)
Haha the cat is or the idea is? Just kidding :) Thanks for replying, I think it was lucky that he ran in front of me, I saw him in time to stop the car and not make the kid see something really sad that could have happened.
I am not a very superstitious person, but, when traveling to the grocery store this evening, a black cat ran across the road in front of me. First thought that entered my mind was .... I wonder if he needs a home, not supposed to be in the road.
My seven year old daughter said "Oh no, a black cat just crossed our path" Here is my question, crossing your "path" is that in front of you or behind you? Both could be considered your path? I don't believe it brings luck either way, but it was one of those things made me say hmmmmmmmmmmm????
RE: why is it always me ?
Well, shoot, guess I just got caught once again not paying attention. It was on the first page, I never even bothered looking at the date
