Sit in another bedroom her door and don't give her chance to get out of her room let alone down stairs. Its tough going on the child and adult at first but worth it.
Then say you willdo then kitty the first few nights does need the same person. Talk to your daughter and try getting her to agree. I know its hard as she is your daughters child and you don't want to seem to interfere your shaky ground.
Sorry your having a hard time kitty. There realy hard when you have a child who doesn't sleep everyone gets Fraught. However i do agree with vonney if there is nothing medically wrong,
Go through the same routine ever night.no matter how much she kicks up a fuss take a back to bed
First time say gently but firmly" back to bed" Second time just "bed"
every other time nothing just pick her up and put her to bed.
It could take hours only person should do it no swapping eventual she will get the message and stay in bed within a week she will be sleeping.
Its hard but worth it but once started you can't give in it could take hours.
I work with people who have been abused . The worst cruelty was done by people who were supposed to care and protect them, their mothers. You can't get more crueler than that
