I think you have hit the nail on the head regarding myself . M ex wife left when my youngest was 18 so I had no worries with child support ! My issues are with myself 1 turning 51 in a couple of days and having no workskills 2 And being an only child having parents in their mid to late 70's who have health issues . Demanding their son live in Adelaide I left my moving interstate a wee bit late !
And I could blame my lack of skills on staying in employment and providing for my family when they were young . But I wont !! At almost 51 I have no desire to study or go back into massive debt . Struggle to buy fuel food etc just to own a house that I can not upkeep !!
Actually I thought you were directing to comments to a large number of posters Looks are only skin deep yes they help USA is way to far to bother with when looking for love IMHO
Interesting thing I have found some very nice ladies will not have a thing to do with guys who don't own their own homes ! That's me as I chose not to try and buy a house again after my marriage ended . Bit of a story low wage and a 30 yr loan id be 80 by the time I may have paid it off !! yes credit union tried to get me back in property the other week !! Employment most ladies like men who are working . Yes I work 20 yrs coming up in the same job .Have found some ladies who have instructed or directed me to find better job .
Id be the worse person to ask , I've learnt never to settle for anything less than what you are seeking . And it took me 21 yrs of wedded bliss to work that out !! You can not change anyone else but if that other person can not accept you for who you are then feet get a moving !!
Well this coming May its 20yrs with my employer !! Already been paid out for the majority of my LSL a few years back. That was a mistake these days I take my week of LSL every year !!
I'm with looking why do we have to work until 70 . I know I don't have enough super that was an issue with my ex ! So moving on !!
It was reported on radio here in Adelaide the other day. That when the retirement age of 65 was introduced back in the early 1900's . Men were only living to 55 so financially it wasn't costing much !!
Me I'm 50 work on my feet all day only stop for morning tea 10 mins and 30 mins lunch !! Need a new knee arthritis in a few places manual labour till im 70 thanks
