I never suggested that! I've only met a few Hungarians here and I had no idea what they were talking about. I still speak Finnish once in a while but I have to admit, it is getting a bit rusty.
Yeah, it's nice after being in the middle of nowhere without any human contact other than the people you work with. At least they're a decent bunch but 24/7 gets tiring reguardless.
I would rather not see any threads locked or deleted. People are going to disagree and act like children so let them get it out of their system in one thread rather than continueing it in all the threads. I'm also a against censorship.
Yes it is. Several years ago I walked around to some of the places I played as a kid and to my old elementary school. From where I used to live to both my aunt/uncles places. A lot of walking that day. It was nice.
I'm of the opinion that the importer should be held responsible for any and all products they bring to our shores. If they were held accountable for any illness or death resulting from a tainted or harmful product they might keep a closer eye on what they're selling. Fine and jail the CEO's for even the slightest infraction and they'll shape up in a hurry, even if they're not aware of the problem. They should be responsible for ensuring the goods are safe to sell to their fellow countrymen. The governments should enforce the laws in place and see to it that they do pay for the blatant disregaurd of peoples health and welfare over profits.
Tons of it! Literally. This has been a problem for years but it still keeps happening over and over again. The first time I heard about it was radioactive cast iron in GM engine blocks being imported from Mexico over 15 years ago. Then it was lead in plastic blinds about 8 years ago. Now it's all over the place! Pet food, plastics, paint, produce, canned goods, toothpaste, pharmacueticals and the list keeps growing. The majority is from China but there's also India and other countries as well. Who's to blame for all of this? Do we hold our governments responsible? The manufacturers? The corps importing and selling these products? It all boils down to greed!
