RE: Hi From Canada...never been to the Australian CS site before...

Psssst...D-Man, you're thinking of British Columbia, that's the last province west. It's practically legal there. Lots of...ummmm...medicinal herbs being grown there in greenhouses and out in the open. BC Bud is known all over the world for some reason.roll eyes
Kinda crazy there at times!smoking

RE: Hi From Canada...never been to the Australian CS site before...

It is a beautiful part of the world, in the sumer. I don't know if you'd like it much in the winter though. 30 to 45 below zero isn't all that much fun.
I like Banff but it's become too commercial over the years. I prefer Jasper national park which is just north of Banff. I lived just outside of Jasper in a small hamlet called Cadomin for a year. The Rocky Mountains on one side and foothills on the other in a valley. It was beautiful.love
I have friends that have made the drive from Edmonton to Alaska. It's quite a journey. If your considering it make sure you have plenty of time and some cash for a new set of tires. The roads aren't all that fantastic once you leave northern British Columbia.
It is still pretty raw and untamed up there. Lots of wilderness to get lost in.

RE: Hi From Canada...never been to the Australian CS site before...

Banff is only a 4 hour drive from where I live. There are a number of beautiful places very similar to it here in Alberta.

RE: AARRRGGGHHH!!

I actually wasn't interested in selling until I was approched by a realtor that supposedly had a client that was looking for lots for sale. I have two empty lots in the town I live in. Now that I have expressed some interest in selling, they're everywhere but they all want me to sign with them first.
I have looked into Comfree but I'm still waiting for a formal offer from one realtor first. Maybe next week.

RE: AARRRGGGHHH!!

I've been dealing with a few realtors over the last couple of weeks on some properties I own. I'm not impressed with them at all. They don't seem to care about anything except money. I want to sell, not advertise some realty company.
Otherwise, same old house, same old cars. moping

RE: Gore Rocks

I never said Suzuki was a politician. I said the movement is political! Big difference.

RE: would u reconcile with your ex

wave Hi Miss!grin

RE: Gore Rocks

How is it that David Suzuki has become so popular? So trusted?
HE'S BEEN ON TELEVISION!
How many years has "The Nature of Things" been on TV? I hope you don't believe that he did that for free. He has a lot of good points and I never said that global warming isn't real, just the cause of it!
There are at least as many that will argue against the "trend" as there are ones for it.
It is political!! Ask Suzuki when you see him.laugh
At least your humorous Darren.rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Gore Rocks

Al Gore is a professional politician. He's not a scientist or environmentalist and doesn't even walk his talk. There are reasons he's not the president. This IS a political movement so get your heads out of your asses.
Global warming is a reality. The earth's been going through these natural cycles long before man was on the planet. Nothing we do is going to stop this from happening. To believe that we can is pretty ignorant.
There may be some truth in saying we're adding to it and possibly speeding it up but to say we're the cause is stretching it way too far.

RE: anyone else had this prob?

Hi Louwave

I haven't had any problems. I've been to a lot of the CS sites. UK, EU, Canada, Aussie/NZ, Intermational and a few of the small US state ones. I find it interesting to see what others from around the globe have to say.
