De Lorean was a Yank who, after working for Packard and Pontiac, founded the DeLorean Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan on October 24, 1975.
SO - It was not strictly British. -- Whilst he got some loot from private sources and stars, like Sammy Davis Junior etc, the firm was funded by the British Government at taxpayers expense to the tune of about $120 million of its $200 million start-up costs according to the Times. --- That was due to the UK government being keen to create jobs in Northern Ireland to reduce sectarian violence by reducing unemployment. -- As part of the offer, De Lorean thought the British government would provide his firm with Export Credit financing with a loan of 80% of the wholesale cost of the vehicles (US$20,000) upon completion and delivery for shipping. Due mainly to his irresponsibility the company finally went bankrupt, in 1982

TVR however, was British and started in Blackpool in 1947 and was in business until 2006.

They can do IF one gets an enquiry from an interested woman in the case of a man but be careful.
The pretty ones we see, contact us and it says they are in the UK on the profile. You can tell fakes if ypou read where they say in some cases as they appear to live in2 or three places in the UK so that is a sure sign they are Fake.

BUT - If or when you decide to contact them on the E mail address they give you they send back air headed love struck standard messages saying they are Beuuticians or travelling make up artists currently in Ghana or Nigeria and will be returning in a couple of weeks.

That, and the fact that they cannot write a properly spelt and constructed message with punctuation and all lower case is blood hard to read and IMO a sure sign they are on the Scam.
