No issues Lannna. It happens to all of us. English is not my first language and despite best efforts I do sometimes make a mistake in my choice of words! Have a good evening/day...
Ah Ok..now I get the confusion! Sorry that I was not clear. What I meant was that when a woman approaches me first, I get a message that she is open minded and progressive. NOT the kind who would accept being someones doormat!
I guess somehow I managed to convey opposite of what I meant. So sorry if my choice of words was not good.
Eh? Where did this come from? I said it does wonders to my ego if a woman approaches me first. This is a very personal statement about my feelings. No connection about other men or women! No woman is my property. That's what I mean by a "Doormat"...a woman who is willing to be treated like a mans property and tolerate any kind of aggressive or abusive behavior...believe you me, there are many around like this...but somehow I can not respect such a woman and that's not the kind I seek...but then, again, its only me...each to his/her own.
Actually, a phone is anyday better than your wife because,
1. It does not care how many other phones you have had, or have. 2. It does not mind if you switch to another phone for some time and then return to it. 3. It does not mind of you sleep with another phone, or even your wife. 4. It does not mind if you mute it. 5. You can switch it off, mute it or otherwise just turn it into a zombie by turning on the "Airplane mode". 6. You can change it and get a new one without any legal complications.
LOL...yes...most religious gurus have this habit. They think if they talk complicated they will be better accepted as leaders. Actually, they do it because they know that they have no answers and just cant acknowledge the fact! Ignorance is bliss and as long as they keep people ignorant, people will keep coming to them to seek answers that they will never get! Its a vicious circle...a business of fear.
To me, religion is for the weak minded. By saying that God did (or did not)do/will something, they can escape responsibility for their own actions!
1. She shows her topsides and hides her bottom. 2. Requires a lot of paint to keep her good-looking. 3. Every once in a while needs to be docked to clean her bottom. 3. Its not the initial expense but the upkeep that kills you. 4. When entering a harbor she heads straight for the b(u)oys. 5. She needs a very good man on top to keep her under control!
LOL...well, some mundane tech stuff...A Captain is a terms used to define an individual in command of a vessel. Like the "Pilot-in-command" for an aircraft (though in some military aircraft Pilot-in-command can be different from Captain, who may not be a Pilot at all but a weapons specialist or another similar designation). For a ship or a boat, he is (generally) the senior most nautical officer on board and (always) holds the ultimate accountability for safety of that vessel. A Pilot as applied to nautical vessels, is a very senior Captain who has been further trained and certified in a specific Port or navigation channel. Even a Pilot boat has a Captain. A pilot embarks a ship before she enters the port or nautical channel to guide her Captain in navigating through that area. However, presence of a Pilot does not relieve the Captain from accountability for safety of the vessel.
Ah...too much tech for a dating site, so here's a more appropriate question...Why is a ship referred to as She? Anyone???
At this time, AW189. Earlier, Aloutte IIIB, Seaking 42B & C, Bell 212, Bell 214, EC 145, S64F and AW139. Got 32 years, over 20,000 flight hours and counting...
But we shall never permit freedom, liberty and solidarity to be compromised. We have to send a clear message that such acts are unacceptable. They have no place in a civilized society. Every one has a right to speak and express, even the Taliban and ISS, but none has a right to kill, to suppress the voice of another.
I was speechless at the atrocity of the attack, but today, I am speechless at the ingenuity and creativeness of the response from cartoonists the world over!
