Who should approach first: ladies or men? (321)
Who knows? Out of the so called ladies that have approached me..in the last month. I would say 2 out of the 20 actually proved out to be real.
I do not believe it matters much. I think for the most part its the ignoring genuine kindness that really upsets both sides. If you are not interested at least write and say so.. CS may have some of the most rude people on the planet, although POF is right up there too.

I don't think it matters.
If I saw somebody with a good/witty/interesting profile, I would let them know that.
Men appreciate not having to do all the running generally.
And if they are the type to think I am 'easy' or too forward because I contacted them first, then they are not the type of man I want to associate with anyway. So no harm done.

You wait for them to both do that and also decide to send an email to you, you may die of old age waiting for that to happen. Also of course, just because you won't show unbidden interest to them does not mean another searcher won't. So by the time you finally get around to it, they are no longer available.
