What is your opinion about approaching here on CS?
If lady approaches first does that mean that she is not "lady" in full sense? Does that mark her as a one who is looking for fun only?

Or that does not matter any more?

Who knows? Out of the so called ladies that have approached me..in the last month. I would say 2 out of the 20 actually proved out to be real.

I do not believe it matters much. I think for the most part its the ignoring genuine kindness that really upsets both sides. If you are not interested at least write and say so.. CS may have some of the most rude people on the planet, although POF is right up there too.

I don't think it matters.

If I saw somebody with a good/witty/interesting profile, I would let them know that.

Men appreciate not having to do all the running generally.

And if they are the type to think I am 'easy' or too forward because I contacted them first, then they are not the type of man I want to associate with anyway. So no harm done.wine

That is my opinion too.
But someone just told me differently.

i also think it does not matter who approaches first. but sometimes I can hear; "but you contacted me. remember?" why is that sentence?

Again, if somebody wrote something like thst, I would just strike them off the list. Life is too short.

Just because you made the initial contact does not tie you to a binding contract!

LoL to waiting for them to find your profile and initiate contact. Some of the best catches have better things to do with their time than search thousands of profiles in dozens of countries in the hopes of finding someone of merit.

You wait for them to both do that and also decide to send an email to you, you may die of old age waiting for that to happen. Also of course, just because you won't show unbidden interest to them does not mean another searcher won't. So by the time you finally get around to it, they are no longer available.

Conclusion, if the photo appeals, read their profile. If still interested, throw out a contact.

LoL, just save yourself some frustration, and try not to close your first or second email with 'contact me at xxx@yahoo or gmail or hotmail.'
