When I encounter trolls online, they tend to get annoying but I try not to engage the best I could. In person however I also tend to not get engage but when I feel that it's too much after doing so, I step up to their level or crazy. I start ranting about things like the new world order, UFOs and cattle mutilations and the illuminati. They get freaked out and shut up after that. It's pretty hilarious.
I'm not a big fan of bars or night clubs. Chances are you will get someone but mostly because they are impaired from the alcohol. Plus if you are offered a drink keep in mind the possibility that the person might have slipped a drug or something inside of it (A little Andrew Luster type thing). Plus there have been a number of incident at my town where a guy had accidently ran into a stranger (whom was drunk or very violent), and got his head smashed in which disabled his ability ro see or talk. the assailant of course was released on bond but I lost touch with the story. Bottom line is that places that involve alcohol can't be too good. Try the park, library, mall or heck even school etc.
Thanks, Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to line my hat with tin foil (and wallet RFID chips in credit cards and all). Snag my SLR camera to look for bigfoot, and assemble my telescope to find UFOs and try to contact aliens with my Satellite Dish
Well this has been interesting thank you very much for the info. I just feel like I have been consumed by some underground society like The Weather Underground or The Phineas Priesthood.
Here is my last argument. It's the last thing I will post regarding this matter but I just thought I aka that I have read more and learned more like you told me to
I believe in the existence of extraterrestrials myself. The tales of alien abduction are very compelling from my prospective and many convincing (My favorite being the Travis Walton abduction). I think it's completely rational to believe in aliens. The galaxy is too large for us to say we are alone and wherever they come from is anyone's guess
I am no expert, But I am skeptical of almost everything and not easily convinced (Experts make mistakes too). Science has many studies and document examination isn't mine. As far as everyone else knows, My views matter just as much as the homeless man that lives under the freeway around the corner of my house that shouts "Lizard People Control The Government!!!"
If it has Alex Jones in it, its considered more "rational" and less crazy. That guy cracks me up every time I watch him. Especially when he gets red faced.
I have come back with some research of my own. Although I haven't found any mention of any conventional forensic testing (other than some random people in their basement doing tricks with photoshop which brings me to my point). I have gone over some of the evidence but none of which jumped out at me. The most compelling however was the B in OBAMA was digitally similar to that of another B in the document. It is said that phenomena like this rarely happens. Sometimes these kinds of things happen. Remember, rarely doesn't mean never. I'm getting to my point here about small anomalies being taken seriously could be mistaken as things in which there weren't. I have heard of a case that involved a man that was accused of killing his girlfriend (not unusual but this story is compelling). He had a left-front snaggle tooth and on the woman's body the bite mark also had a left-front snaggle tooth. Forensic investigators made him bite into a piece of Styrofoam and compared them to the bite marks on the body. They were photographically identical. The angle of the tooth and the length of which it stuck out from the rest of them. He was convicted of this crime with nothing to use as evidence other than odontological evidence. The examiner presented a video that shows the bite patterns of the man's teeth and the photograph of the bite mark on the woman's body. The jury bought it as being similar to the bite mark on the body. Later examinations of the body (some time after he was convicted) turned up hair that didn't match his ethnicity (mongoloid hairs, which correlate with Asians). Later forensic odontology examinations of the bite marks found that while the mans tooth was jutting outward from the rest of them, there was no separation of the mans tooth as opposed to the bite marks on the body. A one in a million chance of having teeth that were similar to another, later examinations showed some signs that they had been wrong. For your own opinions read the story about the wrongful conviction of Ray Krone. What makes this case relate to the accusations of obama's birth certificate false only shows that while similarities like this do occur in forensics, it doesn't mean that they are beyond impossible. Like the Krone case, a conclusion that came from offhand self-justification made from a small detail wrongfully convicted an innocent man. The Bs that appear similar on the photo of the birth certificate are nothing more than coincidences and someone's conjectured self-justified opinion make it appear false. To me it seems that Joe is out trying to demonize the president like a lot of other republicans. Besides small anomalies are considered more to be opinion than fact and aren't scientifically valid.
He is a republican so of course he would try to demonize it. Besides Google searching didn't turn up the names of the tests he ran in the investigation (things like microscopy, handwriting analysis, and linguistics. although handwriting analysis would not be an ideal test since the author of the document in question wasn't identifiable. this doesn't prove fraudulence) and all conclusions are based off of small anomalies (still skeptikal, small anomalies tend to ruin many trials due to lack of evidence). As a scientist I am not convinced due to lack of evidence that a reliable investigation even took place. Of course there will be anomalies of a computer generated when a paper is scanned these days. not only have scanners improved in quality but scanning programs also have built in functions that can clean up an image which would make it appear as if it was created on a computer. I have scanned an application fill in sheet before when I obtained it to sign up for attending the community college (they make you re-register if you miss a semester for some reason but I was still in the system) Needless to say it looked like it was created in infopath but in PDF format like I wanted it to. Colors are more vibrant and letters surprisingly more legible. A Siginature might even look like it was super imposed from another document that was signed onto the document in question. I have recreated this as illegal as it was and it is very difficult to make it convincing since the indicators are very obvious. I can't accept his testimony until I see his reports rather than hearing claims based on conjecture and someone enforce those claims dogmatically)
I wonder how many birthers get their facts through chain emails and heresay. I have found no articles mentioning forensic testings and testimony saying it was forged. This came from chain emails and random comments on conservative outlets liek FOX news, infowards and Rush Limbaugh (I can ask the Westboro Baptist Church if they think he is the Antichrist disguised as a Muslim and they would totally agree with me).
I like how they held the senate seat. What I hated was when the votes were counted it was obviously gerrymandered. the way the votes were actually suppossed to be counted would have left democrats the majority in the house of representatives. now after the GOP's successful gerrymandering operation they have control of the house of representatives. Obama is unable to do anything now. If the democrats kept the house the fiscal cliff would have been solved in no time. Gun control (the rational kind, the the Alex Jones kind) would have been passed and the sequester would have been avoided.
At this point it's more about power. There is too many lies, conspiracy theories, corruption and greater interest in serving the rich and wealth in order for it to be a livable place.
To this day I will never understand this accusation or who it was that started this conspiracy theory (My best guess is Donald Trump or maybe Rush Limbaugh). No matter what you do in the public there will always be that group of people that scream cover up. Some people just don't like to accept reality for what it is and thus make up all kinds of conspiracy theories in order to satisfy themselves.
when the rich and wealthy get their wish and finally make the middle class and poor extinct. this is my interpretation after the GOP proposed ideas of cutting funding to food stamp programs. It seems as if they want poort people to die and go extinct so they don't have to worry about donating money or lending resources to anyone anymore. No morality whatsoever.
After the stunt the GOP pulled in order to get the house of representatives and their plans to change the electoral college I think so. They are either heartless or sore losers. If they can't connect with people then their only option is to gerrymander future elections (Which are completely legal unfortunetly).
This depends on the programs that you watch on each station. I will watch Piers Morgan, Anderson Cooper, and Wolf Blitzer on CNN, and Rachael Maddow on MSNBC but I remain skeptical whenever things just don't add up. I don't need to watch FOX news to know how much of a joke they are. whenever I walk into someones house that has fox news playing on the television I tremble in fear. I'm afraid they might use my words against me in order to demonize me of something. Fox news has been proven to be nothing more than a breeding ground for conspiracy theories and myths. Just a group of people that can't accept reality and what is happening around them and seek alternative explanations or just someone that will tell them whatever they want to hear. After the election in 2012 and Romney lost after FOX news said he would and he was leading all kinds of polls in rasmussin (hope I spelled that correctly). Now most of their viewers consist of 70 something year olds. Bill O'Reilly is now ranting on a television somewhere at a hospice or retirement home
I have not smoked but I know a hand full of people that have smoked and tried to quit and failed. They just didn't have either the motivation or will power to do so. their motives for quitting vary. weather it be to keep a relationship (understandable. my mother made my father quit because of her asthma. after the divorce he started again) or financial, both habits are very difficult to finance and taxes are raised on cigarettes every year. I don't know much about how much heroin goes for on the market or the internet these days but I think that it's also a hard habit to kick. I can tell you that this isn't an easy question to answer since everyone has different experience with breaking habits and not all smokers do heroin and not all heroin users smoke. in my experience drug addicts don't like smoking tobacco (assuming that's the kind of smoking you mean). Drug addicts find it more desirable to do the drugs they do since smoking is much more unpleasant and bitter. I could be wrong but I think you lose your sense of taste after you smoked for a while. The difficulty that you face to accomplish this relies on the persons efforts and how much motivation they have in order to do so. So I am on the fence with this one, But I have reluctantly chose no
While my opinions can't fit into a single comment, I wrote an essay about this for my ethics class. I might have overdid it a little bit but it's what I think. I know that whenever I say things people tend to contort their meaning just to demonize you. here is the link.
