i would go back about 8 days ago, the day before my ex ditched me cause i was coming to iraq for a 6 month tour, and prob say a few more choice words,...ssall we say, now im in iraq...its crap!lost her, and now here untill june 20th next year!!!
id just like to be at home for xmas....but im stuck in the middle of the kuwait desert waiting to go into iraq...until june next year, so my xmas will be in the summer!!!!!lol

can anyone give me some feed back on this, because most people on this website seem to have real crap opimion about our armed forces, i for one, a serving member, have been for 7 years, thinks, there isnt another nation in the world, what could match our armed forces, for the sheer proudness each and every one of us have, to be serving our country! were smart, proffesional, and go to some of the worst hell hole places on this planet, but we go, then come home some time later, have a drink, and forget about it, thats waht makes us proud! and british!
thank you! im not saying you insullted us, but, the MOD have blocked it which is the correct thing to do, they shouldnt be able to sell there stories, but remember, the british armed forces isnt well paid, so who can blame them in trying to make a extra buck or two!
thank you, someone who has some sence, ive not long came back from iraq, and i was doing exzctly what the 15 guys were doing, and its not easy, they were just following rules of engagement... do not fire unless fire upon, no one wants another war, personally, id like to go home for more than 6 weeks this year, i think uk and usa armed forces are doing a great job, and we deserve a little bit more respect from people!
please can i say something, im a british sailor and have 2 very food friends who were taking in iran, and personally know other members of that team, im taking great dissapointment in these comments, mostly from USA, why? after 9/11, the ship i am serving on now deployed to afghanistan, in support of the americans, there is british marines and sailors, soldiers dying every day out in iraq and afghanistan and iraq, and i dont think its a way to pay respect to them, we helped america, in iraq and afghanistan, so please dont be little our 15 who were captured, they never gave up easy, they were following rules of engagement, something the american tankbuster planes have yet to master, i am deeply upset now beacuse of these comments, as you can see in the my picture, i was doing board/search operations in the gulf, another 7 months spent away from family, britain and america should be proud of what we are doing there, i know i am!!
yes it is, but i live on a aircraft carrier in portsmouth, so before we go to sea for a while, i stock up on some good cheese, cant believe im having a conversation about cheese!!lol.x
