Being too busy to be on CS` isn't such a bad thing..it's how it's gone for me the last few years...also, normal lives are no fun, abnormal lives are the fun lives!!
And I'll try to stop by more often..it seems much slower these days...I used to be posting in 5 or 6 threads every few minutes.....oh well. I still have fond memories of here..

I don't know, I'm pretty happy with my career. Being a chef is kinda cool nowadays, while when I got into it back in the 90s, it wasn't. Looks like picked right..
Agreed. I'm always a little wary of their quest to know everything about me, even what color underwear I'm wearing..it can be a little creepy sometimes...
That's what like about the new gOS. I'm a total google fanboy, so It's nice to have all that stuff on the desktop. It's all about cloud computing now, I think..
I use Linux most of the time. It's great if you don't mind fiddiling around with stuff on your computer. It's not nearly as user friendly as Windoze, but it does have much more flexiblity. If you know what you're doing, you can make it get up and dance for ya. Some of the internet applications can be a bit flaky, I still have trouble with flash and shockwave sometimes.
Still, I'd give it a shot. The internets are loaded with forums and help. That's how I learned. Have fun!
