Houdi slept just about as soon as we got home... for 3 hours! (She slept all the way home from Calgary)
She peed outside at 4:00 and then went right back to sleep for 1 1/2 hours and woke up as hungry as a bear.
Peed first (outside), ate, peeed and pooped (outside) and then wanted to explore...
Then wanted to play... and started to howl - amazingly we now have one of my teenage sons up to the rescue...
First encounter with the cat resulted in Houdi yelping for her life in the opposite direction of the cat - Houdi barreling through the house, the cat running for the door!
All is well now, boy playing with dog... cat gazing calmly out of door window. A quiet moment for me to write. The day will be full....
Group activities or social events taking place today, CharlieGirl, which you may have already committed to, might not seem as appealing as they once did. You could be tired, feeling very lazy, and not likely to want to move. Whether you attend or not is up to you, but don't feel guilty if you decide to stay home. We're all entitled to take time out occasionally, and to crash in front of the TV. Relax!
There may be challenges in your daily routine today, BRENDA. Events may crop up out of nowhere and slam you in the face with energy you would never expect. These are indications that something in your life is not quite on track; maybe you have chosen to simply not deal with the issue. The dirt may seep out from under the rug, so be prepared. It is a day for the bizarre and ostentatious.
Just another thought... and I'll likely get hate mail for this one!
I've also thought... Do I want a partner with young children or is it time for us? This question has steered me from certain situations... I didn't live it up in my younger years. I want time for me and/or us before I get too old.
That was the only way I would assess the decision. If I was on my own, would I want to raise another child? This was 5 years ago... my kids were 9 and 11. Did I want to start all over again or is it time for me?
My thoughts at the time... as I said, tho, its a personal decision.
Looks like... it may be two!!! We have 2 of 3 breeders in agreement... Houdi will be coming home on Friday. We're going to let her (and us) settle in for a while. Peanut will stay with the breeders as we settle with Houdi.
If all goes well, Peanut will come home a little later... OMG!!!
Liking being single, I think, is liking who you are and what you are about. I think if you can find someone that allows you to continue to like who you are and what you're about, you have the makings of a healthy and fantastic relationship!
Too many people lose themselves as individuals in relationships...
