It is an insult the boys have the boy scouts the girls have the girl scouts. So myself as a proud eagle scout am glad the girl scouts are filing suit. girls dont belong in the boy scouts or cub scouts.
as with seat belts, air bags etc.. none are fool proof. ppl die or get hurt as they slide down a road. wearing a helmet only protects to a degree. but when a persons body is sliding down the road its worthless. besides most bikers wear one as a fashion kinda thing. unless a helmet can be made to be 100% effective. wearing one by law is plain stupidity. as with heads helmets break too. either make a superman quality helmet or make motorcycles illegal. thats the only way helmets r worth any thing
smoking is not an illness. smoking dont cause cancer it may trigger it. the lungs are meant to take in oxygen so anything ffrom cigs;pot ; general pollution etc... may trigger cancer. there are ppl that have gotten lung cancer and never been around a joint or cig in their life. cancer is mainly a genetic disorder but can be triggered by other things. the organizations against smoking are the same as the tobacco companies. they make money trying to get ppl to quit. i'm a smoker but if someone quits good for them. the tobacco companies never get ppl to smoke its the person that walks into the store or bums a cig that is the person to blame for smokers
This plastic straw thing is such a stupid thing shows the brains of the state. Omg can plastic forks be used can they build cars without using plastic. guess california will have to cut down the giant redwoods to save plastic
