Well I'm not meaning to sound depressing or anything. And hopefully not out of line. But sometimes when people linger too long in the "getting to know you stage", without getting clear fairly soon about whether their time together are "real dates" or "just hanging out" you can miss the window of opportunity. Or one can feel strongly without the other knowing, and eventually get hurt.
