"Just a fantasy" I thought this was going to get good..
My kids are the most important to me and they are doing great. Could always be better, but. The only thing I wish I had done differently is spend more time with my parents before they passed away.

It's just those qualities can be found in all types of relationships. I've had relationships with bosses and co-workers with those qualities, but I don't love them....I don't think!..maybe they love me?...lol...just joking around.

I just viewed these qualities as the basis for any type of good common relationship. In fact, I think you can have those qualities in intimate relationships as well, but love is just not there. I agree love should be automatic and those three qualities are key. Also I think love does require effort in many ways and if any of those three qualities are absent your doomed. Furthermore...lol..love can exist without any of those three qualities, obviously unhealthy though.
SimplePleasure I do enjoy your threads (meaning posts..lol), they are so very appropriate for the site they are on. The subjects have the ability for people to be honest and open up...and even look within themselves.
