Yes, I eat all meat, mainly fish and poultry(free-range). I like lamb despite the image it conjures up of sweet little woolly things frolicking in the meadows....sorry, my bad.
I have a particular fondness for venison and wild duck.
I rarely eat pork. We've had reports in this country of unsatisfactory and inhumane pig rearing conditions, so I refrain from buying the stuff.
I was raised on a dairy farm so I guess that hardened me to the culling of animals for food purposes. My mother would sometimes serve up cow's tongue which I found difficult to stomach....the texture mainly..
My grandfather was a duck hunter. I can recall scalding(very dead) ducks in boiling water and plucking the feathers, when I was a kid.
Gawd, I suddenly feel guilty for my carnivorous ways. Do I need to be locked away?
