Always emerge on the other side....just sometimes it takes longer than others. Accept that is just part of who I am, and, thank god...have improved with it, as I've got older.
Sometimes it's difficult to discern who is joking and who is not when you are a new forum member to the site.
Everyone has their own brand of humour and once you familiarise yourself with other posters, it becomes more apparent.
I am a relatively new member here myself and it does take a while to get to know individuals, but on the whole, I've found this forum pretty good. Sure you get the odd snide remark, as I'm guilty of myself..
....but nothing compared to other sites I've been on.
Oh...insults(if they are about) can come irrespective of nationality.
Marriage does not really enter my mind Larry when I engage with others on here.
I was lucky enough to have a man relocate for me and we had a very successful 3 year relationship as a result. Unfortunately we had to go our separate ways due to circumstances beyond our control. However, he was a kiwi also.
I did have a brief liason(it was more than that, but can't find the right word lol) with a man living in Perth. Long distance relationships do require time/effort/trust by both parties. As far as our immigration laws are concerned. I think one would need to gain permanent residency first if he/she were serious in spending time in New Zealand with a view to a long term relationship. Other NZ CS's could put me right there and google is my friend(just can't be arsed lol). I do know our immigration laws have tightened in recent years and it is not as easy as it once was, to immigrate here.
I think if I met a man out of Australasia, I would just need to take it one step at a time. I haven't completely ruled out the idea but neither am I seriously looking.
Marriage is not on my agenda. It never has been. I'm probably looking more for an adventure of sorts, but everyone is here for their own reasons.
All the best.
You seem like a top guy, from what I have seen on the forums and very popular with the ladies!
I do ask myself, though, is not the USA a big enough porch for you?

He's out there somewhere.
