me, I have learned that through experience.
When I finally got it through my head that it was over and there was no reason to it that I could see, I had to accept that fact. After I accepted that, I quit going over there. He ended up stalking me for 4 years--showing up at my work, driving by where I lived etc...It was hard because I still had feelings for him, but I put those feelings away and stomped on them like a small fire. I was never to go back to that again. How did I finally get rid of him? He kept driving by one night, and the cops would cruise the neighborhood as well. They caught the fact that he was doing that, so they tried to pull him over. He ended up parking in my driveway and running....I told the police officer the story, then asked if there was anything they could do with the car. The officer was so pissed that he had it towed away and impounded. I never saw that guy again message received.
