But that's what i mean, see just because you don't see or experience it you think it not as bad as what the cops say. The difference is they see what you don't. I used to live in regent park for years. Nothing ever bad happened to me(thank god) but really bad things happened all the time in that neighborhood.
If you call denial a learned behavior then i guess you are right. But it is a bad area and within the next 6 months(after the kids go back to school) it will get a lot worse.
You mistrust the media way too much, remember where they get their stats from.......The police department. They can't make up things that aren't true because the Police would be down their throats.
I didn't bother to listen to them anyways. I like to judge people from what i see not what others see. There's always going to be gossip in places like this simply because no one actually has to meet anyone if they didn't want too. It's a breeding ground for gossipers.
If anyone is foolish enough to judge a person based on what others say then they are not old enough to be in this site to begin with
That's a very unfair question since we knowing nothing about her personality, hobbies and mental state.
When it comes to wives and husbands from what i noticed with my friends is that guys won't do what their wives ask because they are upset about either how they were asked or about her attitude on the subject.
If he's not quitting for her then it's because of something she did before.
That's true, some people just don't care about their personal safety anymore. It's a shame since we Canadians regardless of our finiancial situation do live in the best country in the world.
You'd think they would cherish their lives more knowing how much better they have it here compared to other countries.
Sometimes i think people just need that certain someone to help them through the rough parts in live. The fact that suicide and depression are on the rise in our country shows just how cold our society can be towards those who are in need of help.
Regardless of our small disagreement on here John, i do my best to try and cheer up as many people as i can, at work, on here, on other places. Not for karma, or myself but because it's the right thing to do. I even wish you to be happy and i hope you get the television that makes you happy too. See my answer in your thread on it
Well it depends on what you want. Just don't get Lcd screens, they don't last long and they have "ghosting issues" Things like station identification symbols are etched into the screen and the screen life doesn't last as long as the traditional television tubes.
Try looking at consumer reports website for comparisons on the models you want. In the end it's your decision, make one that your comfortable with and will enjoy for many years to come.
Anyone who says they never gossip is someone i wouldn't ever trust. Everyone gossips to some extent, hell the first day i was here i received two emails telling me who not to trust on here.
So for me red flags go up when people tell me they are completely honest and don't gossip. If you're human, then you gossip. It's how far you take things that makes gossip bad.
Where the heck are all the Canadians?
